I'm growing Durban poison outside/makeshift greenhouse for the first time and have used a mixture of garden soil, compost and organic chicken manure. My brother told me after I had potted them on that chicken manure can effect the growth of my plants!? They are about 2 weeks into flowering now. Could anyone tell me if they look like they are doing well. I'm happy enough so far, but as they're my first plants, I don't have much to go by? One or two of them have a few yellowing leaves at the base of the plant other than that they look healthy. I amn't using any fertilizer just rain water every few days? Wanted to go the organic root, but if it'd be more beneficially to the growth of my plants, i'll give anything a wirl!
