Are these trichomes ready for harvest?

I’ll try get some better pics soon. I don’t see any amber trichs so I’m sure they need a few more weeks. And some bud sights are still all white pistils because they flowered in those areas later.

Here are some more pics of the trichomes on the actual buds. I’m seeing some amber, some clear some cloudy but they seem like they still want to fatten up a bit. I’m just over 6 weeks of flower on these autos so I’m guessing roughly 3 weeks more but I’m not sure.

You can cut now if you want. They are all milky. In a few days you will see dark color "squirt" into them and become an amber or even darker color. I have seen even pink squirts/heads. When they start turning colors from milky, is when the HIGH starts becoming more LOW. Everybody says amber trichs... But the truth is, it depends how you like your smoke. Genetics also dictates somewhat. Some strains will become more couchlock if you wait, and will lose the heady high. Sometimes it doesnt even get couchlock-ish. It will just get you blazed and then you get reeeealllly tired.

The most important factor in choosing ripe cannabis is the cloudy trichs for sure. Most people just prefer a ratio in between so they throw a ratio out.

I say pick some today. Some in a few days. Then drag it out until the last bud. See how far it will go. Learn your strain.
