Are these Spider Mites?

Never get a plant wet in direct light! The beads of liquid will be like a magnifine glass all over the leafs and will burn the crap out of them. On top of that, the stomata's (under side leaf) need to breath during the day. As for rain, it will wash top mainly so that's cool, and the azatrol will be in the SM system.

You can use Floramite of Safe Garden Fungicide 3. You just can't use them within 10 days of harvest.

Those sound like fungus gnats and they do more than just chill. Neem oil works well for the adults, the larvae can be smothered by layering sand on top of the soil.

Do fungus gnats make webs as well, I'm afraid I　got spider mites and I'm ready to harvest in about a week. I'm so bummed...anyway can I just try and harvest a week early and trim off all the leaves.

If I have to harvest within this week and I just found out I have spider mites (ready to make webs, but nothing yet just tons of mites) can I harvest? I'm a rook so I need some serious recommendations。 and fast!

Im gonna try and find some Doktor Doom Mite Knockout and Neem Oil and maybe a Trazicide. I know the local store sells a canned spray with Acephate, Resmethrin and Triforine, which looked to be good. Fungicide 3 has miticide in it and it is relatively cheap to what you will find in grow shops.

Fungicide 3 from Safe Gardens. You can use up to day before harvest, however that is for edibles. For smoking, I'd use it no later than last week of flowering.

what are you talking about? Is it bad that you have mites? YES but there are a lot of ways to get rid of mites. I use Azatrol, it is a little expensive but is super concentrated and little bit goes a long way. It works great. Dont freak out, just get the problem under control before you get deep into flowering. Good luck

Thanks a lot. Keenlys post made it seem like my plants have herpes and there's no chance of a successful grow. I really appreciate the reassurance!

I will be picking up some FoxFarm's "Dont Bug Me" to kill them and then some Azatrol to keep them from coming back. I know I have to apply at least 3 times. I will probably apply the first dose tonight (Tuesday). Then the second on Thursday, since I will probably be away Friday-Sunday. Then do a 3rd application next Monday.

its spider mites. . . but if you purchase the dynagro neem oil and mix per directions you can get rid of them assholes!!! make sure to treat the soild . . . have they began to spin webs yet??? if not may have caught them early. GL

okay, I KNOW I have spider mites, like I said no webs, but theres plenty of them. I'm assuming its not okay to go through with the harvest with a bunch of spider mites so I decided to soak the branches in water(post harvest). I realize this is risky but I'm in a place where azatrol and such is not even worth looking for and I'm not really left with a lot of options. I've been trying to find some reading on this practice because it seems there are some circles where people do it (soak branches in water after harvest) anyway. Do you think this will take care of the mites/will it kill the bud?....recommendations on how to go through with this process (how to dry post soak etc.) would be more appreciated than the 'wahaha, you're f'd idiot' thread.

I've heard about dunking plants in insecticidal soaps to get rid of pests, but not post harvest. Do you really want to smoke dead mites trapped in your buds?

Go to Walmart and spend $6 on a spray bottle of fungicide 3 at least. It has miticide in it. If you do end up drenching your harvested buds, please let us know how that worked out for ya.

No, soaking with just water will not work. I wrote a bunch of shit and then realized that you had already cut the buds down. So anyway, there really is no way you could get the spider mites out now. It kinda sucks to think that you probably brought them shits into your house and already incinerated and inhaled bugs. Its not safe to be using any type of poison on buds that have already been harvested. I also wouldn't suggest soaking your buds in water or any type of liquid post harvest because the buds will take forever to dry out and could grow mold. Sorry bro, but if you have anymore plants still growing then here is what I wrote before I realized you already chopped:



If you can't find any stores that sell the good shit then I would suggest getting a free debit card from one of your local banks. Then just load some money onto it and get whatever you need on the INTERNET!!!! Azatrol and an insecticide with Pyrethin is the way to go.

The eggs hatch ( 3-5 days) and depending on heat is how fast they mature. Could be less than a week.

If you end up not trying to do any of that then I guess you could try to get whatever you can at your local Lowes, Home Depot, hardware or garden store. Just read the labels and see if anything says it kills mites. Do some homework and put forth a good effort to get rid of the little shits cause that is exactly what I am doing. Just be careful because some shit isn't safe to use if your gonna be harvesting withing a couple weeks. I know Lowes have Neem, but that is more of a preventative rather then something that will fix an already infested plant. Whatever you end up using make sure you fully cover every leaf, top and especially bottom, spider mites love to hang out there.
