Are These Seedlings Okay? Problem? Urgent!

Hey everyone, so I have a question about my friends seedlings. They were planted on Friday after their tap root had shown into FFOF with pH'd water, between 6.5 - 7.0. We measured the run off at 6.3 on a few different buckets. Anyways, he has had the lights off until they made it out of the ground which was today, checked them yesterday and none had popped up yet, and then checked today and 7 out of 8 were already out of the soil, one is actually kind of tall and stretchy. Anyways, we immediately turned the 600 MH on, and we have them about three feet from the babies to harden them off. When we first checked them, about three or so of them were bent about 45 degrees or more, I am not sure if they are in the process of straightening up because they had no light as soon as they came out of the ground or what? I just wanted to know if these plants are going to be okay or not? This is the first day they have been out of the soil, and a few are just droopy looking, not sure if this is normal or not. The seed is still attached to one of them and hasnt shown cotyledons yet. We watered the 5 gal buckets good until water ran out of the bottom on Friday before planting them, and yesterday and today they were misted with pH'd water. We are in FL so it is quite warm, but the grow area maxed out at 79 today. Please let me know what you guys think, I am a little worried about them, but hey, it is only day one, if I can get them all standing up at least I will be happy. Just not too sure why they are bent over like they are, maybe because they just broke through today and are just getting rid of their shell? Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it, try to get back with me asap so I know what to do..

These pics were taken right when we checked on them today and turned the lights on after about 5 or 6 minutes...

Here is the are he is growing in, its 5x4. Do you guys think this area is too small for 8 autos. They are 5x Sensi NL Auto and 3x Sensi Skunk #1. Please let me know what you guys think, it would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone has any suggestion on a way to correct this issue, please let me know as soon as possible. I hope I am just freaking out for no reason and they are fine, but I would like to be proactive and have all of my preventative measures in line. Thanks very much guys!

Anybody? Kind of need to know something soon, so I can make an adjustment if I need to while I still can. Thanks very much everyone for the help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your good bud, some will stretch for the light, some even recommend letting them stretch. Autoflowers are different then photoperiod cannabis plants. But the babies do look ok. :D

Thanks very much man, you have put my mind at ease for the nice. You are the man, I will post more pics in the coming days. 100% germination rate with Sensi Seeds NL and Skunk #1! What are your thoughts on the grow area?? Too small for 8 autos? I can supplement with CFL's if needed and there is an old 70W HPS that I can mount to the wall if my friend needs to during flowering. My only real concern from here on out is going to be temperature, I think I am going to be cutting it close, around the 85 mark, but if it does get that warm, it shouldn't for too long. In the middle of next week, he is planning on using an extremely low does of General Organics Bio Root and CaMg+ to hopefully help establish some good roots. So the little bends in them right now are okay? I imagine they will perk up tomorrow once they get a full 18 hour cycle of light.

I find it kinda funny when folks get so concerned over little things. They look like seedlings that just popped (a.k.a. normal/fine). They don't need 600 mh at this time (save money on power). Try a little flouro and a soil-less mix in the future for seedlings. Good luck.

stop watering it .............take the plastic off .......the plastic changes the light waves with the higher humity in there not good for the auto unless it is a tropical but most are aried/tempert zone

and go to your veggie light system i would say 20/4

make sure your light is not to close/ on strong u want lite light for the first few days then 50% 3 day later then full and keep adjusting the light as they grow taller

Yeah i took the plastic off once I hit the lights, those pics were taken right when we got there. I only have a 600w mh, but they are a good ways away from them. this is my first Indoor Grow so im still getting used to it, my old greenhouse was so much simpler haha.

These are autos, i was told to put them in their forever pot from the get go.

Also why do you say stop watering them? just wondering?

Do you think the 600 us too close? It's about three feet away.

i am guessing u are using a mix of feed with root and micros all that good stuff ..............the number one mistake we are all guilty of is over watering (myself included ) i am tring to save u and get u a better yeild

true water helps the plant grow and all that good stuff but the lack of water between the feed peroids are important for roots to gor looking for more tapping those peatmoss pockets

run on a 3 day period and increase the amount of water u give as it grows and u will see a stead healthy plant and might even get close to the add day maybe a week 2 off only

seedling 1 cup frist week 2nd set of leaves 2 cups .......once they move bigger get your self a water bottle with oz on side ......2 cups is 8 oz by this time u will be on feeding it ...........u mix up the gall like they say (milk jug it) then u pour in the amount for each plant into the bottle and then pour that on the ground around the plant

auto go down then branch out so water the whole top .......nurts u start it off at 1/4 when u see red dots in the veins on fan leaves increase it .....when u get to about 75% u are there and keep it going

the bloom start u got 50%grow 50% bloom (trust me i learned) 2 week of bloom 25%grow 75% bloom about the 11/12 day u can go full bloom .........during this whole time u have been adding the bloom enhancers all that stuff

Awesome man, thank you for all the great information. could you please elaborate on the last two parts regarding nutes, and what schedule I should be on. when should I begin the bloom enhancers?

the first 2 weeks of the plant u give it only water from the tap

when u hit the start of the 3rd week u go to nutrs
start off using the products line details but do not use it at full str start by mixing 1/4 of the full str feeding (it saids to add 10 mls to gallon u add 2.5 ml)
after about a week of that u move up to 50% (10 mls u add 5 mls )...........the 4th week u are on the last of the grow u should be at about 75% str (10 mls u add 7.5mls)

when u see the flowring start u move over to 50% grow 50% bloom (do to the fact the plant first week streches out and ) the 2nd week of flowering u move it to 25% grow and 75% bloom ( u are keeping the str of the whole thing at 75% if the bloom saids add 10ml u add 5ml of bloom 2ml of grow)
at the 3rd week it should be done streching and u can go to full bloom only (at 75% 10 mls u only do 7ml)

during this whole time with the grow and bloom mixing u are adding in what ever the bloom enhancer (bio bud/ bud candy/ big bud ) they each have the amount they use in a gallon on the side rem u go from 50% to 75% no more autos do not like the full treatment

if u see red veins (or purple) on the stems of the fan leaves i are low on one of N P K .......i am finding i am N short the soil is off

if u see the ends of the leaves getting a burnt look the nutrs are to strong cut it back by 25%(assuming u were at 75% go to 50%) and wait a week to go back to 75%

if u were in air bags i say direct a fan at it to speed the release of the water

a choice is tipping her to the side sothe water cones and drains out somemore

invest on one of these.........it will help u keep from over watering and it makes a path for the water to drain into

only on my first grow and using natural.light, my seedlings.never bent like that they shud b goib up for the light, look like they were bending sideways cos it was too much for them just my guess but am still learning myself....

Yeah I know I over watered them, you'd think I would have figured this out by my 5th grow. I'm just hoping that they bounce back soon once they've dried out.
