Pins appeared May 6th, was planning on harvesting the 13th but they looks so good now and looks like the veil is about to open up on a lot of them. This is technically day #6. So you guys think I should wait another day or harvest and re-flush already? These are Equadorian

If they were mine, I'd be chopping them as we speak.......make sure you get them before the veil breaks or it will get messy with spores.

For your first time that's a pretty nice flush!!! I think you should stick to it! Shit, that's a nice flush regardless of experience. Props!

Think I might have messed up on trying to flush, I filled it with water same as I did the first time but now it looks like it has a lot less substrate and there's a lot of black aborts. Top is also blue, guess I bruised the mycelium...if possible?

ya when you pickem it probly bruised it a bit i saw some chunks of sub on your fungi but i wouldnt worry about it, it will bounce back but i would try to pick the aborts off as much as you can they could rot and turn into a contam risk. how did you pick'em off? i try to grab'em by the base and gently twist them back and forth and they will just pop right off but those clusters are a bitch.

if the aborts arnt to bad you should make some tea with them all

Damn I hope they don't cause a contamination, I kinda just pulled and twisted. It was really thick in some areas so I had to be a little rough. Wanted to grab all the aborts but didn't want to touch more than I had to considering contam risk. Will update in a few days with first flush weight and the status of the grow system.

ya you got a nice bit from that tub, i got 30 rye grain quart jars colonizing right now and 3 quarts of LC also colonizing there all about a qaurter of the way done

Lucky you I expect some pictures once those puppies start showing! lol hopefully I can master the shroom growing art and join you guys. Like I said this was a Grow system I got from Amsterdam, never been too lucky with making my own jars as I can get them to cake but always get trich.

for sure ill have pics i have a busy summer this year iam doing a 30-40 plant outdoor grow as well as all my fungi, hell once i get my next paycheck i plan on getting some more fungi supplys and probly knock up 30 more jars lol
