hello all. this is my first grow and im wondering how im doing. i have 12 plants, and 5 of them are from seed, while the other 7 are clones. these plants are exactly 30 days old. the ones from seed are the healthiest, and range in height from 10 to 13 inches, and are roughly about twice as wide as they are tall. do they seem to be the correct size for 30 day old plants? any thoughts?

fackin sweet plants man. those ones from seed are kickin the clones asses. they look so healthy. They are above average fo sure. what light schedule have you been using? 24/0 - 18/6. When do you plan on flowering them? Plus man you got a killer set up. 4-400 watters. your plants must love you.

holy shit! are you kidding me or what? i dont have the overhead room for 6 footers! 5 would really be pushing it as well... iv heard plants usually double is size during flowering, and that vertical stretch only lasts a few weeks. is this not true?

always account for more unless you really know the strain but if you do a lil lst action or somthing then you should be set which you should look into anywhey if you havent already, even canopy = more gooder im not saying they will get that big but vegging that long you should just be prepared and know that their is a good chance you really dont want plants that tall anywey the light has trouble reaching that far unless you use side lighting wich i saw your journal and you got a lot of light

hmm. thats some solid advice...im not sure about the LST though, for my first grow i want to let them grow natural so i see how they turn out. then when i do start more advanced techniques such as topping/fimming and LST, i can see the advantages and disadvantages for all the methods. i do have an even canopy though, iv stacked books and the like under the pots of all the shorter plants. you definitely have convinced me to induce flowering much earlier when the tallest plant gets to maybe 18 or 20 inches...thanks for the help bro!
