Hi all, I am in 34 days of veg from seed and this plant is showing its sex so I am wondering if this is a male plant and if I should be conerned about it pollenating the room in veg. This plant is also some what tall too so I am assuming it is a male however in one of the pre flowers I can see what I assume to be hair like the females have which has now confused me. Can someone point me in the right direction, should I wait some more and see or get it out of the garden before it pollenates anything. Pictures attached thanks in advance.

If their is a female hair/pistil it cant be a male.

Mainly it can be immature preflowers tricking you, put in flower and wait two weeks, forget pollinating stuff as can pull before thqt point.

Pro advice on sexing that, i should charge the lame advice thats normally given. Theres the right and wrong way to sexing out plants and mainly jumping to the firsst conclusion is erong and you need to sex out plants properly not here.

Thqt'll be two bucks please :-)

Looks male but I've was wrong on one this grow! Big tall plant, out growing everything in the tent, I started to pull it several times but it finally started throwing hairs! I'd keep a close eye on it till it proves itself!

Haha im broke I owe you 2 bucks!
To be honest these pre flowers are so small Im not sure if it is a pistil I am seeing, and if it is a pistil its only coming out of one pre flower. I want to let it go a little longer and make sure but I am worried of it releasing pollen into the garden as I have heard males can do that even in veg? My lights are still on 18/6 and I still plan to veg for another 2 weeks.

Take a pic of it, I take a magnifing glass and put it infront of the camera, it takes a bit of toying with it to become in focus but it's worth it :)

Ya need to leave it till real flowers or pollen sacs turn up. Newbies worry about everything and right now you need to learn even if ya do get a few seeds.

Them look so small i wouldnt judge sex on it and like one member said these weird preflowers show up a lot on females.

You cant rush this but your still trying to, atm its no sex, chill and let nature have the time it needs. Forget the pollen stuff ya a loooonnng way of that yet like ya need a plant ta be actually flowering.

I have saved many guys crops in the same situation, roll them dice longer, you aint nowhere near sexing yet dude.

The second theres doubt or ya need magnification its too eqrly, easily spot male female from a milexaway if its even showing real preflowers and not tiny little misshapen things.

That and one preflower is followed by a ton more, if it is actualky preflowering the rest will be along in a few days so again no reason to chop at this point.

This is always the way, too many of these threads are guessed and im right far too often when everyones saying da opposite. i simpky pass on tge knowledge of how to do it properly not early :-)
