Something looks strange about them, maybe cause they are still so green...??.....anyways id say a couple more weeks for the brown hairs to start to recede and there seems to still be allot of white hairs.

Alright, 15 days since those last pics...here is one of the Gelato and Blue Cookie....what do you all think now? Im wondering if I should chop and get my drying room situated (first time) now or wait till after I return from a 2 day trip on tuesday. I fly out Monday and have no way of regulating things and the drying environment would be new to me. I have my flowering setup stable where I can leave it a night or 2 no worries...no clue what drying will be like so I wanted to babysit and adjust in the beginning till its dialed in. I was also thinking of running them in 24-48 hrs of darkness before chop with just the fans circulating, but if I shouldnt wait another 5 days I will chop n hang them tomorrow.20180427_233302-1.jpg 20180427_233321-1.jpg

Nice. Big difference eh?
Wait till you get back. They are in the harvest window but few extra days will help rather than hinder.

Definitely pick up one of these. Super cheep and worth every penny. The trics are the best way to tell. Cloudy with a hint of Amber here and there. works for me every time.

Nice looking plants by the way. I might wait One more week depending on the tric colour.

If you dont know when peak harvest is its not a loupe you need. But seriously its a totally uneeded item perpetuated by those that wanted to over complicate a simple process.

Na.... no over complication. I just like to know how there looking to help decide when to harvest. Over complicate?? Really? Just Good info. How do you tell when your plants are ready to harvest?

My trichs are perfect when my plants look ripe, its not a hard equation to follow and one thats been used for over a 1000 years... well until you turned up and perpetuated a myth that without a loupe you cant tell peak ripeness.

That and i have skill enough to show growers why a loupe is pointless so why waste the money.

No just saying it like it is, a lot of what people recomend and instill seems from the first few pages of how to grow weed on a google search...

Flip to page 15-20 and you'll find real growers telling a slightly different story.

I used a loupe but it complicated the issue, i look close then stand back and i know exactly when that plant has reqched peak dankness.

:-On a higher level you shoot yourself in the foot just citing thc cdn/n etc, theres 200 odd cannabinoids of which your scope cant tell dick about, these can make or break weed moreso than thc etc.

The O.P is a first time grower...the loop may be unneeded in your storied world but I'd offer the same advise to the OP...get a loupe they're 5-10 bucks...

You recomend a loupe to a new grower whilst neglecting the other perfectly good option, im sorry my storied would hadxto cross into yours just to point out some valuable info you loupe guys seem to convieniently forget to mention.

A short while ago someone forgot to mention to scrog growers that sog out strips their yeilds too...

I feel like theres a lot of half truths and personal perpetuations spread here, would it kill you to give the whole truth so that the op may use his own brain to decied?

Meanwhile back in story land :-)

Thank you all for the responses, all of them, seriously, this shit helps a lot! Im stoked to finish up my first grow and Im excited as hell to see how full and swollen my buds are compared to other well established home grows I have seen. Hoping to have everything cured by 4th of July, wish I could invite you all for the toke session!

ya.. imo a newbie looking at a bud with a loupe can definitely be counter productive. There are a bunch of reasons thricomes can change or a person could just look at a leaf so they can justify cutting the plant down. Kinda same reason I wouldnt tell a newbie that the bud was done when the pistils turn.

Best way i could tell a newbie is to wait until the bud is "hard" to a squeeze.

That bud looks like sum fya bruh! Congrats on getting this far .. try to practice patience.
