Are these beginnings of preflowers?

Id like to know what Others Think about this as well.. i have a plant that is Young that looks just like this..

The plants in both pics are only just 5 weeks in veg... how can you be so sure that's a male? I know they look round, but doesn't it need to be in the flowering stage to determine sex?

no no no, thats definately a male. it doesnt have to be in flowering stage to tell what sex it is. you would see hairs rather than that sign of mini balls right now. thats an early stage of a male pod.sorry man good luck with your others

however, remember that patience is a virtue BUT to pluck any plant too soon is a shame and too late is a tragedy.

those are "preflowers" they appear during the veg stage. usually between the 8th and 12th nodes. they most often are a determinant of sex but can show "falsely". yours appear to be male but i have seen them show "false sex" before. it's easy to mistake males for females at this stage though so it's best to wait until they go into 12/12 to be positive.

I did think it looked male also -- but i have been tricked in the past -- give it a bit longer, youll know for sure when it spreads its lips or its balls drop...
