are the temps ok?

don't mind him, he doesn't have anything to contribute, just trying to keep his activity bar at 100%
 
i think what he's trying to say is the water that gets on the leaves when you mist can magnify the light and burn your leaves.

Exactly. Best time to spray is just before the lights come on. This gives some moisture time to evaporate and the lights will dry the rest before they get too hot. My opinion anyway.
 
ive seen on you tube,a guy said his cfl got wet from some water and he said it exploded and he was worried about mercury in the bulbs..he wasnt growing anything was just in his ceiling light fixture.and went on to say usa needs to bring some bulb back?..edison bulb or something? (damn wishld find the link)...wonder if cfls cant get wet

ANYWAY....GROWTEC, I STARTED FROM SEED IN BUBBLEPONIC SETUP..TEMPS ARE EARLY 70'S AND HUMID. IS AT EARLY 60'S
IS THIS OK FOR SEEDLINGS OR SHOULD IT BE WARMER IN THERE?

PLEASE I NEED HELP.ITS BEEN 5 DAYS AND STILL NOTHING
 
yeah exactly. all i meant was its not a good idea to mist your plants while the lights are on especially if the light is real close to your plants... sort of common sense really but apparantly growtech doesnt think im helping so ill just let him continue to contribute by being an asshole :bigjoint:

Oh the lamp could blow up! :wall: I also thought you were being a smart ass talking about the plant blowing up. Good advice tho! Cool water and hot glass are a bad combo.
 
nah i dont think its possible for the plant to blow up haha but i have heard of lights blowing up from misting too close to them and im just guessing no one wants a light bulb exploding in their face...

i never spray the bulb i just mist the plants a bit
 
well yeah... dont spray the bulb haha i was just making sure your lights werent too close to the plants you were misting!
