Are the medical dispensaries hypocrites?

I do not buy my medicine from a doctor the doctor gives the rcomendation. they are prevented buy law from promoting and dispensary over another they cant say heres your rec now check out mary janes on 4th they have great medicine. some doctors have started opening offices in the same buildings as dispensary which is questionable and im sure does help both doc and dispensary buisness. The doc I was reffering to dosen't have a dispensary and has been known to give free recomendations to homeless people who had a legitimate medical issue not for publicity not for profit but as compassion. And I have not seen anyone in need shut off on free compassion meds I know my dispensire is a buisness and i'm sure their not losing money-sometimes I pay 30$ a gram for THE BEST- but I have been really impressed with the compassion i have seen shown many times to those who couldn't afford meds- I see that their not giving away the top shelf I pay for but I have seen many bags given away that I would be very grateful to receive if I was in need. I understand buisness is buisness and not all promotions are done to be 'nice' but their is more compassion to be found in the mmj community than in most buisnesses. Some shop owners are dirt balls -some are not
I know they are prevented by law to promote over another. You have to understand what I said, I said they USE a business TACTIC. Just like any good business does, they find ways around those laws. They aren't TECHNICALLY telling you to buy from them or recommending 4th street meds, I never said that. But by them running SPECIALS, that is they're way of promoting they're md over another without actually stating it. Just like Burger King, they have a dollar menu but they aren't advertising it as a better deal then Mc. Donalds, but everyone knows WHY they are doing it, because of Mc. Donald's. It doesn't take much common-sense for someone to say;

"Who should I pick, MediCann for $150, or 420hookups for $45?"

Of course they are going to go with 420hookups, did 420hookups have to tell them to go through them? No. Did 420hu tell them they're deal was better then MediCann? No. Because the SPECIAL they are running says it all without saying it. Common-sense business tactics is what we call that. Catering to the public in a common-sense light, that is irresistible. Spend $150 or spend $45... no brainer.

As for them hooking up the homeless, blah blah blah. I don't take that as a legitimate anything. Because like I said, there is a select few that are good, but the majority of them are bad. Of course there is always those "select few" there is a "select few" in every business that are good. That's just life. But you have to look at the STATISTICS & who the numbers favor... in this case, they favor the fact that most are a business & most are greedy.

It's like saying, "Last night a cop killed a innocent citizen, all cops should be fired & new ones rehired!"

Really? Why? Because ONE cop fucked up? Your going to account for EVERY cop because one fucked up? You have to look at the statistics. Now, if there was 40 cops working & 20 killed innocent citizens, then you would have a legitimate argument. But like I said, you have to look at the numbers & the numbers show that there was more GOOD cops then BAD. So, I don't care if they hook you up, because that is just ONE good dispensary & you might know a few more, but there is hundreds out there & you haven't even been to 25% of them, most won't do what yours does. I'm sorry that the select few GOOD ONES have to go down, but that's what happens when your in a business that is run by greed, you have to be aware that at anytime the people within the same business as you, can give you a bad name.

You said it yourself... "Some shop owners are dirt balls -some are not" 90% are dirt -10% are not... so who do we favor here?

Too bad when you get a $45 medical card, three months later the place that wrote you the rec gets shut down. :roll:

everyone that is against p.19 usually has already had a medicinal card or is a seller/grower for a club. Plain and simple they have a hidden agenda or are biased wether they like to agree or not. I have had a card for awhile now and think Im 100% sure on voting Yes for Prop 19. After reading all this hearsay it made me do a little more research but I think its absurd how some people are intrepeting the bill and what not. Also its funny how some people think that Marijuana should not be taxed at all. Do some of you really think that this would happen if it were to be fully decriminalized? The government is WAY too smart to let this crop go untaxed! Think about it...seriously...haha

Are you really that stupid you can't figure out why doctors don't want Prop 19 to pass? Uhhh it's because you won't need them anymore you fucking moron. If it is legal then you don't need a script for MMJ. So that is money out of the doctor’s pocket. You act so ass hurt that doctors are telling you they want to provide meds for you at an affordable price, but most of the assholes "including me" have their MMJ card for a bullshit reason! I would say that about 60% of MMJ card holders have it for BS reasons and the only reason they have it is because they like to get high and don't want to be hassled by the cops. Getting your card in Ca is as easy as taking a shit, if you don't have one then you are either lazy or a stupid ass! They will tell you what to say and point you to a crooked doctor to give you a card so you can walk back into a dispensary and get your weed 20 min later. Prop 19 lets the Local Government get their piece of the pie. And why would the price go down as low as you say it will when they now have to pay taxes on it? And they are going to have a few people mass produce the shit so how much care do you think is going to be put in quality? Will they be worried about quality or quantity? You will be right back to the people asking $40 bucks an 8th after you get done smoking dirt weed like you did when you were 15 yrs old.

Yeah great idea put the marijuana program in the hands of the government! Either state or federal they will fuck it up. And I am glad you would rather give your money in taxes to the government rather than a local grower. Good idea because it will surely get back to you and your community if you give it to the government.

Agree with Stern, My I do have PTSD and it prevents me from sleeping sometimes, but I mainly just love the high, I am a chef it is a high strung job, most cooks I know are dipping in the Booze room at shift begining just to "Wake Up" i just need some relaxation, and I am voting yes on Prop-19. I make money off the MMJ trade, i make food they sell it I get paid, not in that order and I know if prop-19 passes I will be the small man on the totem pole but I thats better than it still being illegal. Think about APTs and like 50 gardens all in a row. There will still be thefts cuz there will always be people to fucking lazy to do any better but I guarantee there will be less. Thats my .02. Gotta get ready for work....whoa have not said that in a year.

you are very right about that. Iono...I have my card so it really does not affect me if it passes or does not pass. However, Marijuana is a Schedule 1 drug under Federal Law. I am a lazy stoner atm so I will not go look up this information but I want to say Im pretty sure the only thing to get off prohibition from the Gov't is Alcohol. Alcohol is now Taxed. So...Im just curious to know how some of you whom oppose, believe that the federal gov't would not handle Marijuana like they have alcohol? Is it the belief because it is a medicine? When do you think federal gov't will see it this way? I'm just curious cause as of right now all of the supposed 'heads' are saying "No" and I have been reading as much as possible as to why any 'head' would want to vote "no" on this prop?? I mean the way Im seeing the negative side is that all the people whom are voting no have a card and are growers...or seem to make their living off of the plant. So to me this shows there is a conflict of interest as to how these people will vote. O well...Nov.2nd can't come soon enough!
