Keep in mind 13south that how good a plant is grown is a key determining factor of how good the fruit it bears is. That goes for any plant out there! I have grown some awesome habinero peppers that are a tiny bit smaller than market purchased ones but much better. Not only hotter but a much better flavor!

That is true, 13 I cantellyou this I have taken aprox 10 plants(female) from seed to smoke and they all were schwag seeds of stuff I enjoyed. Provided that you watch your plants when u turn them and eliminate all males any smoke you get off them females should be and look muchbetter than the orig.
That being said I got some seeds from abuddy that saved them from expensive bags( that I'm sure he was a little sad for finding a seed) and I can tell a difference in both rate of growth, densness of plant and visual apperance.
But if you are going to be spending$ on power why not get something good to work with(there's no rule that says you can start out on top just read up and you willbe fine. It really depends on your goals and if you are going to be serious about it or just a hobby

yeah man it could be a dank strain you could take some really crappy terrible schwag and grow some super dank frosty bud from the seeds how much tlc you give it can help the thc (also you gotta remember seedy bud isnt gonna be good cause the plant used all of its nutes and energy to produce those seeds instead of resin
