Are reggie seeds worth growing???

Hey guys, I've been trying to translate this thread, and I think I may have it worked out.

You are asking if it is alright to grow out seeds found in bought pot. Am I on the right track so far?

The confusion comes from the use of Reggie. To most growers, regular seeds means seeds like they have been for the last few hundred thousand years. That is both male and female seeds in the mix. As opposed to female seeds, which are produced by fooling the flowering female into thinking it's really a boy.

No sir all u smoke is dro that is why u don't understand !!! We are beginning to grow not growers so we still smoke Reggie which is Mexican weed with no white widow or blueberry Kush ....Lol with rather jose's and Pablo's weed

If the question is, is it alright to grow out seeds found in bought pot, the answer is, it depends on the bought pot. Just like dogs and younguns, it's all in the blood. In this case, the genetics. Seeds from good smoke will have good genetics.

Last Spring I was running low on my smoke, so I picked up an oz in March, then another in April. Both sacks were compressed pot, but pretty good. I planted some of each, calling them Bag Seed Testers 1 & 2. I finished with 2 males and 4 females of BST2 and 2 females of BST1. One of the BST2 males was 8 feet tall, 10 feet wide and stunk to high heaven. I named him Big & Stinky and used him to make some crosses. With both BST 1 & 2, as well as one of my strains. I made several strains from the two sets of seeds. Peach, Rotten Stinking Bastard, Little Sister, Prickly Pear, Hurricane Head FP, Hurricane Head GN, and Big & Stinky X CP1. Then in my Spring crop, I made Powernap X Sinmint Cookies X B&S X CP1. I have some of those, as well as all the others going now. The Peach and Rotten Stinking Bastard turned out to be my biggest producers last year.

When growing any seeds, assume they are going to be good. That is to make records of start times, sexual maturity times and flower times. Also treat each plant as separate from his or her brothers and sisters. Label everything, so when you decide on keepers, you know exactly what it is. Don't be afraid of pollen. The outdoors are big. You can have several small patches and do some breeding. Then when you do buy some good seeds, you will be able to make enough for you not to have to buy seeds.

And I have a new BST strain going this year. My buddy picked up two sacks on 2-14, and I got a little of both of them. Because of the holiday, I named them SV1 and SV2. SV2 was a generic diesel. I put 9 seeds in soil and got 8 sprouts from them. They are up and doing alright. Since the main thing I want is to make seeds from them, and I don't have a lot of extra holes, I put them all in one big hole and will see what happens. I'll stake them down when they get a little bigger. {I'm starting late to keep my plants small. I have more than I can tend}

i like using reggie seeds, you never gonna know what you are gonna get, male, female, hermie. But you learn which is which, each plant is kinda different in a way. How do i know, cause that's what i do when i grow. Any MJ seed i find, i put in my zip lock baggie, and when i ready to grow, well here we go....unknown strains you just simply experience and experience is knowledge for the next grow.

Reggie to me is mexican brickweed, no name, brown in color, comes in the shape of a tire and has thousands of seeds per ounce. It's not worth growing let alone smoking. If your bagweed has a name it's not reggie or schwag, just low grade. Yes it's still around I have seen this stuff. Made me pissed off just breaking it up lol.

Thats exactly what i did. I grew out a few bag seeds and harvested them. Then i ordered feminised seeds from ilgm. Reggie came out good. 1 out if 3 hermied.

I feel both fem and regs have there place but regs are better for preservation and if its bag seed u meaning its ok to grow for yourself just i wouldnt breed with it personally
