Are nutrients acidic? DWC QUESTION

Pretty much title.

Are these nutrients going to lower pH? From what I can see I think they do.

Think I may need to order some pH up for topping off if I'm adding nutrients

Oh also my ppm is WAY lower than some of these charts online. I only just got a PPM meter but here's where I'm at in a 5 gallon tank:

So I messed up today I think because I should probably add some nutrients but if I remember correctly they drop my pH and I don't have pH up!

the major NPK ARE ACIDIC IIRC, not sure how acidic, but nitrates,phosphates, sulphates etc are acid salts. much will depend on how the food is made.
buy a universal feed, then you don't have to go down the PPM/EC/TDS ROAD OF CONFUSION.
NOT THAT IT MAKES MUCH OF A DIFFERANCE, I have never grown with that in mind and I growz plants that blow peeps away, and that's before theve had a smoke of it. there weeds, weeds grow with little help. as long as you cover the basic good soil management your ok, but the levels you will be monitoring will fluctuate with time of day and/or plant needs during the day, it would drive me mad LOL

Usually. When I used GH it did. With Cultured Solutions things are more stable. Keep your nutrient solution weak. You don't need much. Just add any nutrients and your ph will be stable.

Wait. I'm baked. I just read this. Add more nutrients. Just give them around 500ppm.

Luckily she's drank enough water last night that I was able to add some more water (which is pH ~8.0) and then add more nutrients (added .75 tsp of each) and the pH balanced right back out.

5 gallon tank. And man I do want to add more nutrients because she seems to be eating a ton the last few days (now that I have my TDS meter) and I feel like she could take it since my nutrient levels are only a little more than when I started.. but my pH up won't be here until Monday. To get to that level I would have to basically double what I just did, i.e. add another .75-1.0 tsp of each nutrient and I'm just worried it would drop the pH to about 5.0-5.5 with no way to bring it back up.

Only way I could bring pH back up is adding more water which would bring my water level above the bottom of net pot.

Hmmmm don't know what to do. Might be worth it to get the PPM higher but maybe she won't care too much if the PPM is a little low the next few days....seems like a long time to go with too little nutrients but she's been okay so far............

Hey thanks man compliment like that feels great since this is just my first grow

And I just added up the recommended dosage is 12ml of each nutrient for my ~4 gallons of water.

Which means I'm at about 1/12 of the recommended feeding schedule. But like...do these plants look deficient? What's the benefit of adding more? They going to grow faster or something?

Here's the newest growth from various parts of the plant let me know if a picture of a different part would help! These are from this morning.

I USED TO CHANGE THE NUTES WEEKLY TO 10 DAYS. allways fresh and no need to guess

I think my less is more policy is about right for me, but im not looking for the most beautifull or perfect looking plants, ill settle for happy and clean tasting.

that second picture reminds me of my NL'S POLLYPLOID, THATS HOW THE BROOM EFFECT STARTED

Thanks for the reply but I'm sorry im not really sure what you mean. I do fresh Rez change once a week, and topping with water and nutrients as needed daily. I'm trying to increas my ppm is all but have to wait for my pH up because additional nutes drop the pH too low.

Why don't you just go IONIC rather then trying to squeeze all those millions of parts into solution from GH fertz? IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Youre interests should be a little higher up the plant if you want big.. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIT'S FOLLIER FEEDIN TIME ,YOU CAN'T BEAT IT. Why you ask, good question, ahem, there are self ph regulating nutes that work as well as IONIC'S, NC's 2 part leaf and flower are for acid or alkali water, friggin awesome in DWC
