Are my plants to skinny?

I've been growing these plants for going on 3 weeks now. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. Also the top of the stem on one of my plants is turning purple. Any idea why?

Is that 4-5 plants in one pot? I'd pick your favorite and chop the others before the roots get tangled. How many Christmas lights you got those bad boys under?

Its 4 good looking plants and a couple looked sort of stunted and retarded lol so I pulled them today. I have them under 1 soft white cfl bulb

They are kinda stretched, lower your like to about 3-4 inches from the top of the plant. The purpleing could be anything; lack of nutes, to much nutes, or genetics. Hard to tell from the picture.

ok so should I burry them deeper in the dirt or leave them?

Ok I have a box fan in the closet with them. And I took the top 3 and put them in their own pots and buried them down to their first seedling leaves

Well, that is a start Pluto......what's your soil? what nutes are you planning to use?

Well that's what I need to know I have them in a scotts garden soil and I added just a tad of 4-4-4 that I had to the soil. This is my first time growing. I started with my own seeds so that if I messed up I wouldn't lose money
