obviously if you only need a few, then buy them. but if your going to like a good bit, and in various sizes, not to mention custom shapes and sizes than you can get around 5 yards of eco felt for less than $15 at walmart, cheaper online. how much time it takes to make them is up to the person.
iv even made 2x2x3 inch fabric pots for clones just for fun.
this might be for someone who more enjoys making their own stuff and learning a new skill.
this yellow fabric is even cheaper than the felt and allows the soil to breathe and is also very strong for its use.
