AR-15 stands for assault rifle 15

Generally I tend toward solutions that work.

I'm not sure most are aware of how much of a gun culture the US really is. There are 70x more legally owned, registered guns here in the hands of citizens than all US police and military forces combined.

Almost 3x more than the entire world's forces combined.
So is that a no to you thinking any radicalized kid should be able to get a gun and it not being a issue until they start blowing away their fellow students?

Also, why do we need to redefine everything lately? I like the legal definition of "assault" the way it is. Are you cool with changing that to something other than offensive attack?
I really don't care enough about the gun issue one way or the other to care about what hyper specific terminology people trick themselves to getting hung up on.

The radicalization taking place that has shown that this completely overpowered AR15 is a real issue. Being able to blow people into chunks really is not necessary for any dickhead to be able to buy because they think it looks cool without some speed bumps.

Ok so Uvalde shooter. No. The mass red flags already abound and his juvenile record could have been yet another. So these are tools we already have that weren't utilized. How would more regs help here?

An armalite 15 will not blow you into chunks. That's just misinformed.

Another example: Biden loves his shotgun but hates high capacity 9mm handguns.

000 buck puts 6-8 9mm projectiles on target every shot in a tight group too. So Elmer Fudds double barrel puts the same 9mm downrange as the scary "high capacity" handguns, with better accuracy mostly.

AFAIK since sandy hook or perhaps way earlier, not one school district that arms teachers and sro's has had to deal with any of this. Pretty sure that's 100% effective. Seems like that's the way to go instead of changing the adult age for everyone to 21.

I think the average age of a mass shooter is 32. So why not raise the age of rifle purchases to 64?

Juvenile records are sealed right? So how would it have been flagged with current laws?

If there was something like that in place it might have stopped him from being able to buy one that he then went and murdered a bunch of people.

And Uvalde is just the most recent (maybe it was a couple weeks ago now), how about the Parkland shooter, this is obviously the gun of choi e for radicalized idiots looking to kill people for whatever reason they trick themselves into thinking is ok.

This doesn't even get to the idiot kid in Kenosha.

There should be a actual application process to buy these. And buy back programs for the people who think that they are cool and end up realizing it is too much of a gun for them.

Tell that to the kids who had to be identified by their shoes because they were decapitated by this gun.

It is not hard at all to see the difference in damage that these high powered guns that are not useful for anything other than killing people do.

Pretending otherwise is just disingenuous.

Yeah this just screams more NRA talking points to me.

And why should we trust anything that has been shown to be Putin's stooges?

Anyone schilling for Putin, is not doing it to help the safety of the American people.

How many schools are there even? How many have armed teachers walking around? What is that percentage?

My guess is no schools with armed teachers have been hit by a meteor either, so guns must save students from meteors too right?

Putin stooge and meteors, my word. Was hoping to be somewhat serious.

What's the tool of choice for rape? Should we confiscate those?

Neg and shift.

Way to troll.

I really don't think that there is a way to confiscate peckers, unless you mean prison, and then sure, if they have raped someone, we should confiscate them. If you mean chopping them off, then no.

I can see why you don't want to answer. Do you not have the nerve for an actual discussion or do you wish to simply abort in this way you have?
lmao coming from the sock puppet account that has up to your incorrect statement about banks in another political thread (banks don't create new currency, that is only done by the treasury), who can't answer if they believe that any 18 year old should be able to just wonder into a gun store and walk out with a weapon designed to destroy people, no, not really.

I don't care enough about guns one way or the other to answer all your NRA troll talking points. They are stooges of Putin, and anything they are doing is not for the good of the American citizens.

This is just a distraction from the actual legislation that is trying to get passed to help slow the rates of these radicalized domestic terrorists who think that killing people is a good idea. And of course a way to rile up all the second amendment dupes with bullshit that is not reality.

You seemed willing to discuss the tool of rape until I tied it back to the definition of assault which is actually on topic here.

Is that because you could see where the discussion was leading along with the rest of us and you felt ill-prepared to go there and chose obfuscation instead?

Interesting* how you keep trying to shift away from the actual question that I asked at the beginning of my time in yet another stupid as shit gun thread.

*not really interesting, more annoyingly consistent with new accounts that find this forum and start pushing their NRA narratives.

I did already as highlighted.

Fwiw we could call it the weapon of rape if you're uncomfortable with tool. You identified that weapon as a pecker. That will work just fine for me.

So is rape assault with a high capacity pecker weapon and therefore all peckers should be labeled assault peckers because it's the weapon of choice for this type of assault?

I'm not an NRA member or an ultra MAGA.
