I had a friend that could get his fruits and veggies to grow while everybody else’s struggled told me he just used piss. I want my smoke to be organic no liq nutes and all of that after I build my soil will urine and aquarium water be enough to sustain my plants!!?

Urine contains significant levels of nitrogen, as well as phosphorous and potassium and the aquarium water probably has a lot of organic matter.

Sure you can fertilize with your own piss but dude...first off that's fucking nasty and second too much soluble N all at once can spike ph. Fish water is fine though; I support doing that. Piss and fish water probably will not support your plants over the long term. Give them what they want in the soil like worm castings, slow release fertilizer, and minerals and you won't hafta piss on them. If you want to give soluble NPK consider something like a liquid fish fertilizer.

That’s the plan to give them what they want! Farmers use piss all the time plenty of studies to support it. It’s not like I’m about to whip out and start pissing on my bud then blaze lol what makes manufactured chemicals less nasty than sterile piss... it’s a mindset

Urine isn't sterile, that's a fallacy, it has some bacteria from inside your body in it and picks up bacteria off your skin as it leaves your body. It's not that it's absolutely dangerous to use as fertilizer, it's just a higher likelihood of transmitting human pathogens if it isn't composted correctly to kill everything. In reality, you could use your own, composted, shit also if you wanted. It's not commonly done because of the risk. I believe I read the urine lie was started by the military during ww1 so soldiers wouldn't care, so much, about pissing on a wound to field clean it. If you're dead set on using it, add it to a compost pile and let it break down first. With the amount of animal byproduct available, i don't see the point. Try stopping in at smaller local farms with livestock, sometimes they have an excess of manure they'll let you shovel for free, or offer some labor in trade.

I just started having my roommate save his saltwater tank waste from his protein skimmer. Looks like I'll have about 6-12ozs of sludge ill be adding to 50+gallons of recycled soil every cycle. I might have him save his filter waste, idk. Everything I've read says it's a great source of micro nutrients. I even read that ocean water, diluted at a 10:1 ratio with fresh water, odds a really good source of micros.

Really good info thanks a lot. Think I’m leaning towards building soil rich enough not to need chemical nutes I just want a real smooth organic smoke and I’ve never liked manufactured anything really. If it’s not possible I will have to join the wagon

Your goal is entirely possible even without using piss. We all left the wagon in a ditch long ago. Rain water collected in a bucket is also chock full of active microbes. Bubble it up with some EWC and molasses & I bet your plants like it better than pee pee.

You might want to be careful with young plants and aquarium water.there was a dude on a here a few months ago who really jacked up his plants doing that.
I have a small 30 gallon freshwater tank that I will soak the used/dirty filter for 24 hours(I actually aerate it in a bucket with1.5gallons of water) before I water with it.seems to act like an overall tonic for the plant.i use it during all stages, mainly during veg though.
