Aquarium lights

Hi guys. Anyone ever tried to use these to grow? Or, would it be possible to replace these bulbs with horticulture bulbs instead of the aquarium bulbs? These are two 250 MH bulbs plus the T5's around them. I just thought they look pretty cool. Thanks

The distance needed for mh would defeat the purpose of the t5. Maybe change the mh over to large 125w or 200w cfl.

replace the 2ft t5 bulbs with zoo med florasuns(630-660nm peaks) (found at your local petco/smart stores) and your good to go....
