just a wood hippie opine, but since basically the strain sour apple is, and Im figureing any diesel would work crossed with C99. Ya gotta do a chuck and find. Or find someone that has it, basically, just not calling it apple or sour apple. As in some generous soul makes SkunVA/c99 crosses or another generous ole soul makes some SD/C99 crosses. And then there the generous ole soul that has the real deal AAW that is no longer made, they lost the male, I read. Just sayin, its not like popping one pack. But it might be fun, never know.

I have a male, and two females. One in flower. Of Mac × Alien Apple Warp from a fellow RIU chucker that have an insane apple nose to them. The male has a really really loud sour apple nose to him, so much that I collected pollen from him and took clones before culling him. I've had a few apple scents here n there throughout the years. But nothing like these. They legit smells like jolly rancher apple candy. @Rosinallday made the chuck. Idk if he has anymore. Maybe get in touch with him.

that's the exact description on leafly for aaw, so I'd say that's prolly dominatin. But that's not a bad thing, lol imho. I got a trip choc chip x aaw goin gal, not as far along of course and basically flowered from seed, beautiful. I set these and the mac x aaw's back, I can tell by the way the beans popped, prolly gonna find something special, prolly out of any given pack or five or 10 beans.

Yeah I havent seen any mac traits in the 6 i popped. Other than I got one true tricot. Shes on like node 13 or 14. And she has three fans, three nodes, and three side branches at every node. I was hoping she would grow out of it. But doesnt seem like its gonna happen. I've flowered a few tricots before they normally dont perform very well. Atleast in my experiences. So I'm not sure if I'll flower her or not. I caught 3 females and 3 males. Tricot and two nice lookin females. 2 males that really didnt have a smell at all on stem rub. And shitty structure. And one male that is super loud. No stem rub needed. It's extremely smelly. And had really nice symmetrical structure. Nice close node spacing. And tight flower clusters. The last male I flowered out threw pistils all over. So this one I left in a solo way way long to root bound him. For stress. To see if he threw pistils. And he didnt. I even let him get super super dry in coco. Only thing that happened from the stress was the first few node flower clusters opened up and he dumped pollen while still in veg. But I dont take the males opening up early as a sign of a crappy male. I've found in chucks where I use early opening males that theres no difference in offspring that I can see. Doesnt mean theres not. I just havent noticed any. It didnt shorten flowering times or make it longer. But everyones thoughts on males are different. And everyone looks for their own traits.

My Ace of spades cutting has a sour apple/cherry liquor smell during flower. Cures out to a slivovits(plum brandy) taste and smell.

Tahoe Alien was the female in the sour apple cross, not the male.
"....(per Alien Apple Warp).....This will be our final hybrid made with the Tahoe Alien. We decided to use the remaining TA pollen stored in the freezer to create this strain, and to remake Fruity Pebble OG and Alien Rock Candy F1s with the original parents. The Tahoe Alien male has done his final dusting and is officially retired. Fresh seeds of Fruity Pebbles and ARC will be available sometime later this summer....:" to be honest, their own site lists the sour apple ibl first and some other places list it as the second, aka, father strain.

I'd take anything Alien says with a grain of salt, but he should at least know about that. Maybe everyone else just has it backward. I will say, though, remaking those "limited one-time crosses" is a huge slap in the face to everyone who shelled out big bucks for those "very limited never again" seed packs.

I would slap myself in the face if I bought them. Hopefully legalization derails all of these hype trains.
