Aphids

Well I have had to deal with many pests over the years in my indoor gardens. I took in a few cuts from a friend and now I have pretty good aphid infestation going.

These are tiny green hard bodied suckers. Luckily I haven’t flipped yet and have a sec

I use neem oil pretty often but I need something a bit stronger.

A dude I know suggested Malathion, looks sketchy but I am geared up with PPE and comfortable dealing with application rates.

Anyone with some knowledge on this they would like to share?

Malathion is a cholinesterase inhibitor, it will decimate your aphids. It also requires applicators to get blood tested every 8 hours of use. You get your blood drawn to set a base line to test agianst at big farms.

Id go with beneficial insects, after to control any survivors.... parasitic wasp are good, but slow... lacewing larvea will go to town right away
