And of course economic sanctions, freezing assets, covert operations and outright support for regime change have nothing to do with it.

You're the classic flat Earth style political consumer; you start with the conclusion you want and only listen to supporting arguments.

That isn't education; it's bias.

@NaturalFarmer please explain how slavery and abortion are the same.
Very much so. Without dehumanizing efforts by slave holders, slavery never would have been regarded as "the peculiar institution". It was Fredrick Douglass who gave slavery a face and showed citizens how very wrong it was by showing them that he was like them in every way. Without dehumanizing the child, where would abortion be? Without treating them as property of another (which humans cannot be) where would abortion be regarded? What is the leading cause of death in the black community? Not heart disease bro. More abortions in NYC than births. 35%+ of abortions are black children even though black community makes up only 12% of the population. What party supports that again? The same party that supported slavery of course.
Her body, her choice.

Slave holders never said that.

@Fogdog I know you wont hear any of this, but I hope you can listen. You are absolutely right that her body is her body and if we were talking about a hang nail or an ovary, that would be her body, but a child that SHE IS CARRYING is not her body it is a separate body with separate DNA from the father and mother with its own features and potential.
Now back to the similarities of slavery. Dred Scott v Sanford (do you anything about that decision?) essentially said slaves were property and not people. This argument was what held slavery together when it was all coming apart at the seams, it also was the reason we waged war a few years later. Dehumanization was a GIANT part of slavery. That is why Fredrick Douglass was such a champion. He with help of The North Star, showed the world that humans were behind slaves and not some unworthy creature without rights.

Only by dehumanizing babies (just as was done with slavery and the Dred Scott decision) by calling them balls of tissue or something similar to dehumanize.

Only with dehumanizing can people think that abortions is not killing a life. It is not the women to choose the fate of another's life because it is not her property (remember people cannot be property). The 5th amendment and the 14th amendment are clear that due process must be given before taking "life and liberty". The babies are not the only victims but by convincing one self that it isn't a person (with separate DNA and an unlimited potential if given the chance) can people carry on. 60+ million children dead since Roe v Wade (which by the way took away the 10th amendment and states rights and also allowed the court to make a law. The courts don't make law in case you didn't know.

Make adoption easy and cheap and hold up life not death.

The Supreme Court ruling in Roe V Wade was made because pregnancy is not a hang nail or a tumor on an ovary. Carrying a child to term has significant long term and lasting effects both on the woman's health, quality of life and equality in the work force.

Roe v. Wade.

And fuck that noise, you people only care about them until they're born.

Then it's fuck you, fuck your access to insurance, fuck you if mom can't afford food and clothes.

If you want to adopt, Russia will fix you right up. Tell them you suck Trump's dick for twins.

So it's okay to make that woman a slave to her own womb?

Then why don't Republicans give a shit about the welfare of mom OR child once it's born?
