1) Do the connectors connect...contact? i would have just done cob to cob...fuck the connectors...but thatz me.

2) recheck your cobs are put in the right way and they are indeed going positive to negative

3) driver details..?

4) what are your fanz connected to..?

Are you sure the +- on the cobs are oriented correctly? Can't tell from the vid and pics because the holders are covering the contact points. If one of the cobs has the orientation backwards they will fail to fire up.

Also the pic of the driver is too out of focus to read, so I can't confirm whether it's a correct match.

You may have already confirmed those things are correct, just throwing some ideas out.

Fan connected to a 12 volt sperate power supply i will deconstruct the thing and check out allll cobs for positves etc

If it lights at all then the cobs should be oriented correctly.

As mentioned, no need to switch wire color between cobs. Maybe get some 18 gauge solid and try using that... the holders will likely be much easier to use with solid wire.

Also, post the driver model and we can look it up, fuzzy in pic as I mentioned.

Got the model # from that pic, checks out fine. Maybe the driver was bad, they are sending you a new one? I can't pin point the problem, but if you're having trouble getting the wire seated in the holders that can cause issues and some 18 gauge solid will fix that. Not sure about those holders, but some holders have trouble accepting wire when the jacket is much over 2mm. I bought some 18 gauge solid with a 2.6mm wire jacket diameter and it just barely fit in the holders with some force, major pain in the ass.

If you can't move forward without the driver replacement, maybe just let it sit and try the wiring as is with the new driver when it arrives. If you still have a problem then do the rewiring.

Thanks for the great help. I just wish it was monday so i could collect my driver.
I believe they are sending a new driver even though there might be nothing wrong with the first one im not sure.

Show which two wires from the driver you connected to the red and black LED wires. It should be the red and blue from the driver. If those are connected right then I guess there's a bad connection somewhere.

Maybe you need the programmer.

Those off-center two out of three screws lining up holders are making me so uncomfortable.
me too. but the pre drilled holes were meant for a different cob holder i guess.

iConeected blue to black and red to red. i will ring the distributer today and see if i can send him my whole setup and have him work it out.If he has time, i would pay for that if its not the drivers fault.

If you have a multimeter maybe you should check if there's actually power coming out of the driver. Or maybe just connect one COB and see if it lights, then try others one at a time. Maybe one is bad. The voltage range is 33-156 right? So you could run from 1 to 4 on it at a time.

I guess you said before that it does light but only at low current, so there is power it's just not adjusted correctly, or something. But I don't see a dimmer so it should be full power. Weird.
