You dont have to like the Spider Farmer options, but they test well, the specs are good, the materials are quality, the output is great, and the price is affordable. They are a good mid-range option for those of us that are not professionals or commercial growers but still want bang for the buck, as they check all the boxes. When I'm rich like you, I'll upgrade.

That’s not what I’m saying ... ... pump your brakes.
I’m saying “ both “ are from same company , price point is fine and grows exist to show potential. I even say look into the “ SP bars “ .
i am only saying the customer service outweighs the device ... if buy , you expect service.

I understand what you're saying. The way I look at it, if the device doesn't give me my money's worth, and the seller doesnt work with me in the event of a failure, then I dont buy from them anymore and I spread that message instead. When I upgrade to a better and pricier product, and I will eventually, I will look at it differently. I went in eyes open on this, knowing it was a bit of a leap of faith.

honest why buy a mars hydro which is utter shit there been shit from the get go making straight up shit lights just spend 100$ -200$ more and get something that will last and work like a timber or a hlg -cutter

If you want service then you buy a HLG. I had a Meanwhile driver die on me turns out it was under warranty so HLG shipped another out, turned out being the wrong driver for my light so I emailed CS and they apologized and shipped another out via priority mail before I had even returned the first. Thank you HLG.

well you must be misinformed, f strips will cost you $43.40 CAD for 2 strips pulling 120W, making it cheaper than those aliexpress cobs. ive bought those cobs before and use it as a floodlight outside on an extension chord, good for nothing else other than general lighting. They also heat up alot more than strips.

Yea and how much is the ballast? And the fixture to mount it in? Does it require a solder? Mine are 38 bucks screw in hook directly to ac and I can use what ever cob I want and mine are grow cobs just to be clear. I can install most led chips to my cooler. There's a reason why they are so expensive to buy lights with cobs in them. I can buy lights similar to the ones you got for

No solder is needed...just wire nuts or wagos. My lights cost me right around $1/watt to build, but I also went with more expensive extruded aluminum rails for the frame, and extruded aluminum heat sinks. If I went with angle aluminum for the frame, and square aluminum tube (or flat aluminum) for the heat sinks, then the price would've been closer to 60-75 cents per watt. If you are happy with what you have, then that is all that matters, but you are wasting your time trying to convince anyone that what you have is better or more economical than building a strip or a QB light, because it's quite simply untrue. I mean, seriously dude, just look at the difference in growth between your plants that are under 1400W and mine that are under "500W". The reason I put the 500W in quotes is because I dimmed them down to about 400W during veg and have been running them at 490W since I flipped them into flower.

I ran all my lights too all Month my power increased 38 bucks. I need more details. Like a screenshot or a link. I think mine are doing pretty good I'll have to cut some light back and take a better Pic
