How many Democratic Senators were there when the ACA passed? Who said it was never able to pass? It was a tough political process that took a great deal of effort and despite the substantial majority of Democrats in the Senate, it passed by a single vote. And then there was the backlash.

That is not possible today. And Bernie can't even get his own supporters to the polls let alone rally the country into adopting it.

I wanted some one progressive who did not vote so easily for war, fight for health care for all, and didn't want money in elections. My vote stayed true.

As far as enthusiasm, Bernie got far fewer votes in 2020 than 2016. Your personal devotion to him does not make him any more popular.

Regardless of your service to the Air Force, it is quite likely I have been to more countries than you. I also have degrees in International Affairs and Public Policy. If you don't realize that your argument about "other countries" is specious, then you have poor judgement as well as lack information.

I have never met anyone that was not in the service that has been to more countries than me. I spent about 19 years of my 22 going different places. I was not comparing only asking if you have been outside of the United States. but anywoot. ..my enthusiasm is for the progressive movement not the same shit we get with Biden or Trump. My personal devotion is to my wife and kids. To be honest I will survive whomever is POTUS. I'm looking out for the future if our nation, the poor, and the not well off.

I work in transportation and logistics and my insurance is pretty good. I spent a period of time between jobs in the last ten years and the ACA was a good safety net which still exists. Moreso, the protections given us all under the ACA are of huge importance. Yet the ACA was much less difficult to pass than M4A, and it barely passed despite much better circumstances.

Counting the dead will not change the political reality. Few will die because of lack of insurance. Many will declare bankruptcy. Many with insurance will die.

Bernies plan was toforce everyone all at once whether they wanted to or not
