Anyone tried growing/smoking Sour Secret

Looking forward to a smoke report on this one, sounds very interesting.

I have the indica pheno it is very LA Con dominate in structure and the Sour Diesel/LA Con mix well in smell and flavor. It yields OK < I have had better luck with it as a single cola then main lined but that could be just because last run I had hermies on another strain and the Secret Sours got a few seeds so we will see next round. Overall I am happy with this strain, it has great flavor, good structure < not much stretch and super thick stems and finishes in 8-9 weeks.

Bud swell stopped at golf ball size. Dont want to disappoint anyone who grow this. Still looking frosty and dense.

NAstynick how did yours yield single cola style? My friend lst'd and each indica pheno has 6-8 tops prob yielding 2 zs per plant in only 1 and hakf gallon containers. I suggested he bump up the container size and im sure the yield will jump as well. Just curious as a sog vs lst.

I yielded 4.5 doing it single cola style and got maybe 3 lst'ing But I did get some seeds on it from another plant and I think it pretty much stopped growth as soon as it was hit.

I just popped a 6 pack. 5 popped and they are rocking out. a couple of them grew 5 inches or so stretching for the light bad its funny lookin.

Thx nick, single cola 4.5 sounds much better than multiple smaller nugs. I will get my friend to try this out.

NOrthern lights he acquired from ontario seed bank are looking amazing as well, such a heavy yielder, the old school smell and taste im so stoked ti b able to smoke this strain again. For 80 bucks he got 13 seeds, guys pretty generous, regs, phenotype mix is many, he says he has 3 keepers from that pack. 1 of the keepers is frostier than the Ss. And yields r ridiculous. Ss seems to have denser tricomes, but yields avg.

DNa he paid 130 ish plus tax. For 6 seeds. He said they all looked premature and was surprised they actually popped. Although the plants r strong and vigourous. Uniform depending on pheno. Both phenos frosty and stinky. 2 keepers out of 4 seeds popped.

Mine looked very strange too. immature might be the word id use. they had a reddish tint to them like the southwest of the USA. very tannish white at the point with the reddish gradient going from there. one of them was very very small and actually just didn't pop. others look great tho i was very surprised they popped. can't always judge a book and all but ya these definitely looked weird

So out of 2 short indica phenos, one was like affie, the other is like la confidential with longer fingers on the fan leaf. Amazing dna genetics. Shitty looking seeds but couldnt b more impressed. Two were more stretchy, sativa like, one closely resembles dna/reserva privada sour diesel, and the other is like a tall la confidential.

Quick smoke report. Sativa leaning pheno.

flushed the same as the nl, and destroys the nl in every aspect. Weird, smokes cleaner for some reason. Ontario seed bank genetics suck.....

Anyway back to the dna secret sour. Odour is mainly sour diesel, bag appeal top notch. Taste is sour ds, fuely, strong, like taking hits of hash, throat contraction, uncured. Im stoned big time. Almost like im in the matrix...

Not cured sure it will mellow out with a cure. Yeild way over half pound 4 plants(id say 1 p close to), veg close to month, 1000 watt hps, coco 20 percent perlite, 1.5 gallon pots(bigger next time). Lst.

CAnt say how amazing secret sour is.
VEg a little longer, takes up little sq ft for the yeild.

Sorry got off track, buzz is very nice up high chopped at 9 weeks. Indica and sativa phenos. I could write a novel on this strain.

Like I said this is the secret sour sativa pheno. Very sour dieselish. Up high, happy high. My choice for up high, love everything about sour diesel. Sure the la con adds a little more strength.

Bout a week after chop, strength has increased big time, more couchlock, trying the different phenos, as usual, sativa leaning phenos have more up high, shorties r killer couchlock, almost too strong, like smoking hash, hit after hit your throat and chest start to contract, need to focus on relaxing your body to breath deeper, hard when your also zoning out on the killer weed.

INdica had a nice berry undertone with a strong hash flavour. Whereas the sativa has a chemy fuely hashy flavour, both with mainly sour diesel odour. Sativa is more astringent fuel in odour as in the taste as well.

now see why this is a keeper. Seems to get better with cure as usual.

KEeping all 4 phenos, 4 beans popped , 2 indica phenos 2 sativa phenos, each have different qualities and differences in buzz. Check the la affie as we call it, above. Love dna, owe them big time for this fire.

All 4 phenos killer bud, amazingly have the sour diesel la con flavour in all 4. All 4 have the knock out stone, puts me in space.

Know its the killer genetics from dna due to growing lesser northern lights side by side same everything.

DNa hands down, dont waste your cash elsewhere. Dont beleive the haters.

Ok just smoked from the low yielding sativa pheno.

Taste is top notch, after years of smoking its hard to pin down taste and smell. Ill say its up there with the best.

High is like a mac truck, 3 hours ago I smoked and I almost felt like I was gonna fall off the toilet while taking a shit. If there is a such thing as being too high this is it.

is yours a slow grower? i feel like LA has very dom genes. both sour secret (6 seeds) and grape LA (6 seeds) are growing super slow.

I fpund it to grow at a pace similar to the northern lights which was growing beside the sour secret. So id say it was pretty vigorous. Really took off when it was placed in coco with 20bpercent perlite(lets say a airy coco mixture as some come airy enough without perlite). Went from 5 inch to over 10 in about a week. Was surprused as it was a first time using coco.

Interested in what the grape la will b like, pls share when your enjoying your efforts.

BIg fan of anything grape these days. Grape stomper is hard to find, anyone know of any nice crosses with grape stomper?
