That's what I loved about that episode. Chef's parents were stinking rich and yet Chef's dad was always worried about a dollar. I can remember a story of a new jersey man who was a multi...multi millionaire and he never took limos but walked to work. One day his secretary dropped a dime on the floor and she just started to walk on. he stops and picks up the dime and tells her, "every cent counts'. It is that attitude which helps make millionaires, and keep it (the wealth). There are other variables, but without that frugality, or shall I say, respect for money, it will always be an uphill battle for folks.
