Anyone running Kryptonite

I've recently made the switch from bottled nutes to a premixed organic soil called Kryptonite made here in NS. Just checking to see how people made out using it indoors and out.

Any feedback would be great

Hey @Kp sunshine

Fellow Scotia Boy here, I tried it couple years ago, i grew 4 cream caramel autos from sweetseeds they grew alright. At about 6 weeks had to start using some mega crop as the Soil could not keep up with the plants needs. I was also top feeding and had no issues, But a couple of RLF had gnat issues, and at the time there was no talk that the plants should be bottom fed, Now they recommend you do so, to avoid insect issues.
My wife bought me an autopot setup for our Anniversary

As soon as my current grow is done maybe a couple more weeks at the most, I'm giving the Kryptonite another go in combination with the AutoPots.

Would love to see your current grow using the Kryptonite

Is monster crop not a synthetic fertilizer? I know it's a dry fert but it's not an organic amendment meant for organic soil. You likely ruined any symbiosis you had going on in the final weeks.

As for kryptonite. I saw it at the local shop here in ontario but the name alone staved me off lol. Didnt think it was organic but apparently I was wrong!

Valley boy here, born and bred but in Ottawa now :( My wife and I have been toying with the idea of moving back for retirement soon. And then I do some serious growing again.

I'd avoid Kryptonite simply because if I ever need serious help here, Superman is likely not going to show up. /jk

Yes it's good stuff. They sourced lots of their amendments locally and put lots of thought into their mix. I think they had someone in the agricultural industry to help with the the planning. I'm new to it but it's working well. I vegged in 2 gallon pots for about 7 weeks without any deficiency. Repotted to 7 gallon to finish.
They said roughly 2 grows before re-amending is needed.
You can't use the soil in small pots and expect it to keep up

Right on hopefully the 4 gallon pots will do fine for autos.

Hopefully 4 is big enough.
I learned that auto's like a pot with a good vertical drop. The longer the taproot has to go down before hitting the bottom of the pot the better it is. So a good size pot that's fairly tall would work best.

A friend used it in 7 gal fabric pots outdoors on her deck last year and it worked fine. Didn't break any records.

In my next grow I'm trying Early Miss autoflower in Kryptonite for the first time, using two 4 gal autopots, (it'll be my 5th grow, 2nd using autopot). My last grow (1st time autopot), I used green planet liquid, mineral-based "dual fuel" nutes and struggled with salt build up. I'll be post in a journal.
