Anyone ran into rattle snakes?

I love snakes around my area, keeps a lot of the little critters away and wood-be thieves!!! snakes don't bother me at all, I just make sure i watch every step i make.

Nope no rattlers at my spot, but I have run into a copperhead twice literally right next to my plants. That will wake you up on an early morning hike seeing one of them bolting out from under the brush.
Ran into this guy on a camping trip earlier in the summer. Strange, I've never seen one so dark black before. They are usually more green.

The rattle snake that struck at me never rattled. I didn't know he was there until I heard a thump!
