anyone own a htg supply ultimate 400w mh/hps grow light?

I just ordered one, it should be here tomorrow. Does anyone use this light? Seemed like a great value.. Anyone have any suggestions on cheap ways to hang the light?

Cheap ways? LOL. You bought the "ultimate" package and now you want to scrimp? I wouldn't advise it. HTG also sells these pulley system hangers that makes it very easy to raise and lower your light. Runs about $20 or so. But anyway...go to HD and buy some hooks and chain cute to length. That would do the trick for under $10. Or you could jerry-rig it with clothes hangers for $1. But you get what you pay for, remember. Good luck.

thanks for advice both of you.. where do you attach their adjustable hangers to?

To some rafters and then through the hangers that are attached to the light....don't worry it's easy. Chain works to....

Gygax, how is it on energy cost?

Flexi Hangers is that the ones?

I didn't see the electric bill but I'm thinking she said it was around 60.00 more, but we have ac units running now too. I can't give you a definite answer

your probably close...just sell like a quarter to your buddy and bam the bill is taken care of. I myself am much happier with the light bill or not. Good luck Ralphie

it just game in the mail i'll be setting it up tonight.. too bad i havent got the flexi hangers yet, i guess ill figure out some way to hold it up for now
