Anyone out there using a Tesla battery (or at least solar) to power your grow rooms?

Yah if I wanted to add a battery array to power my home after the sun goes down it would be 50-68k making the cost why too much. The only additional to my house I bought here will be the same as when I was in Michigan and add geothermal heating and cooling.
Right, I'm looking at it component-wise. Not for an entire house. Grow rooms only. Grid power during the day, battery at night. A fraction of the house but a big chunk of the bill. For example, bloom tents could be scheduled to run during the day -- on grid power -- so there's less demand on the battery/ies. Something like that.

Similarly, I'd grow a bamboo privacy fence and harvest some after a while, annually, to offset/pay property taxes. Every little bit helps.

You'd want your bloom tents to be on during the day using solar power and what's leftover goes to your batteries for night

I think we're in agreement -- you quoted me. grid/solar combo for bloom, veg/whatever else at night powered by battery/ies.

How much power does your grow use? What's your average kw usage in a month?bamboo to pay for property taxes they must be low. I'm glad I don't have to pay that stupid junk

This is for my next grow. I rent a house, this is for when I buy. Two years. Trying to pay for most of it up front.

Currently, my power bill is about $300/month above what it would be if I didn't have anything going on, but that's based on hot months. In my own house, I'd want to double or triple the total lights. So, I'm anticipating a hefty energy bill. I don't want to cut costs/corners on nutes/bud quality, energy consumption is an area to save some pennies (preferably, dollars). I'm considering everything in the aggregate. $1 at a time, that shit adds up.

can you grow outdoors? 1 good harvest of like 10 plants would be good for a year or more.

ok you guys, we are all high but, please fix the quote issue
I must've put someone on my ignored list -- because they were always so f'ing negative without any constructive insights. Jeeze, I got over it, but didn't know if it shows up as ignored ... awkward, so I edited the quote to avoid a more awkward moment. I'll update my list, I don't hold grudges -- I just don't need to read everything!!!
