anyone med ever have a run in with the feds?

Just curious because one of my buddies tells me that the feds fuck wit medical patients in CA all the time. If so, what do they do?? Obviously if patients were getting busted by the feds all the time it wouldn't really help having a medical rec.

do you medical growers ever have 100% peace of mind over legality?? can the feds really put medical growers in prison??

absolutely. It's illegal on the federal level.

right im aware but do they??? surely medical growers wouldn't post massive journals on this site if they knew feds could easily come get em.

Yeah they definitely do.

Way to many for them to even try were free out west!No worries

in certain states once you have X amount the states lets the feds come in, otherwise it usually takes a huge operation to gain thier attention

That's what I figured, huge operations only. I hear of med growers on here with 99 plant recs. Personally, I would consider that a huge operation.

I'm more talking about cali tho. What do you think the feds would consider a huge operation?

From words and experiences up north with my farmer buddies, the feds get involved when it becomes an operation more so than a grow. When you start hiring more than 5 trimmers and have people working on your fields throughout the day that isn't yourself... the feds will look into you, and where you're getting rid of your shit, and bust your ass. Personally watched 5 black Tahoes and an all black MD-500 helicopter set up a road block and checkpoint on my friends private road in Mendo, busting a house that had over 300 plants outdoor, and stopping/ arresting every worker that drove up to the farm. Fully strapped DEA agents with M4 rifles and MP5's everywhere, and I was watching the MD-500 hover not more than 100 feet above my friends 80 something plants. My buddie's dad thought they were about to repel down and start taking his shit, but they're too legit to quit. Crazy stuff, but feds rarely fuck with medical patients. Even then they pretty much stopped their dispensary raids.

Don't give them a reason to bust your ass, in other words. DON'T BE GREEDY! 100 plants may seem like a HUGE operation... until you notice all 7 of your neighbors have over 300. Keep a lower number and be careful where/who your weight goes to.

That's quite a story. Having workers is a bit over the top. Trimming is hard work but hiring people to do it is pretty stupid IMO. I'm not greedy. I just want to grow for personal use. Any extra I'd give away to a lot of people. I'm moving to CA in a few months (college) and I really appreciate the helpful information. Hell, a half lb a month would satisfy me for life.

also, why would your buddy be growing 300 plants when 100 plants gets you fucked (much more than 99 does)?
