They say its bad to dry your bud in the light, why is that? Will it really effect the potency that much by not drying in total darkness?

Apperently it degrades... Is there scientific evidence behind this i have no clue

The bud will still get you high as hell man, just quality goes down. (Mostly in taste IMO, crumbles into a bud powder almost when you break it up. )

light causes the chlorophyll to start to break down. which will turn your buds brown. not right away. but the longer the exposure... also thc degradation too.

Nah, my buds always are in light here and there.
Drying, and curing. Bulbs, and sunlight.
Still fire.
