Anyone know what this is???

natmoon it does kinda look like a male banana that has alredy opened and released its pollen to me......
oh and iam reading that dcument as pretty much saying that polyploids cannot be seeded?, and the only way to cultivate them is to clone them repeatedly?????
I just copied and pasted that info from wiki.
I have no idea of its accuracy or whether or not it applies to cannabis or just wheat crops.
If it does produce pollen i will see if its viable or not and show pics and grow the results for you all to see:blsmoke:
It has no pollen in it as of this moment as i have checked it for that already and no pollen dust on the lower leaves to indicate that it has already dropped its load:mrgreen:

I will take a couple more pics right now and see if it has changed at all yet.:blsmoke:

Ok seems to definitely be growing slowly but surely.
Got a clearer shot in the light from the cupboard:blsmoke:

I agree, ive been doing the exact same thing, started from the bottom and worked my way up, from day 1 of flowering to day 36 flowering which im at right now.

I chop all the way through the 12/12 and through veg.
Carefully and selectively exposing bud sites.
I never deleaf a plant over night.
Just a few here and there a week over the course of its entire growth cycle.

Yes i think that exposing the bud sites to more light by selective deleafing will help a lot:blsmoke:

natmoon, is there any way to get some more information on what exactly you mean by selective deleafing, and at what point to start this process? im a complete noob trying to get some results like that picture on page 4:blsmoke:

you know what, if its only in the one place, it looks like its at the top or near to the top of the branch am i right? if it is, jus top the plant from the node below the AIDS and hope it doesnt grow back. but bare in mind that i have never experianced or read about this so it might not work.

Yeah watch this space as it grows to see what it looks like when its bigger:mrgreen:
I wont be smoking it!:spew: :mrgreen:and at the moment i am going with the premise/guess that its a polyploidal male that has been fimmed, accidentally right on a flowering node by me which has caused it to grow multiple immature broken and empty pollen sacks.

It may also be what Ian said and be an undifferentiated growth of some kind.
If it is male it remains to be seen if its pollen is viable and what the resulting seeds will be like if they do take.

More pics tomorrow or the next day if it doesn't look to have changed much:blsmoke:

Here is some pics that will show you how and when i deleaf and why.
This also depends on the speed of growth that you achieve in your own setup.

Now as you can see the big leaves are stopping the maximum light from reaching down onto the new tops and in a couple of days they will start to shade the plants next to them as well.

This is how much i took of from all of those plants put together.
Maybe 4-5 leaves from each one at the most.

After the haircut you can see what i have tried to expose.

This exposure results in this kind of growth.

If you want to know anymore about fimming and leaf removal i am doing it right now in my ppp grow journal.:blsmoke:
