Anyone know about using apples, kiwis, or bananas as fertilizer?

I read on a thread that some people use apples, bananas, and kiwis for making homemade fertilizer for flowering. I am going to try it, but have no idea how well it works. They say it works best for flowering and should be used as any other fertilizer during flowering stage. The original recipe is in spanish, so I will translate:

1. Cut up 3 bananas OR apples OR kiwis into small slices or bits.
2. boil the chosen fruit in 1 liter of water for a bit (it doesn´t say how long) I assume until the bits are mushy and floating on top.
3. let the water cool.
4. using a strainer, pour the water into a large container to seperate.
5. Add 3L of water to dilute.

It also says use once a week, or dilute more and use every 3-4 days during flowering. Before you begin flushing the last two weeks before harvest, water with the banana, apple, and kiwi mixes. Should come out with a different taste and aroma if done this way.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or tips to add to it? If you want me to, I´ll post the thread in spanish, the above is just a weak translation (sorry, a little lazy right now to translate EVERYTHING. And no, I won´t google translate it)
