i was wondering i havea 2x2 grow space and i currently have 200 watts of 5500k cfl's in there . i was wondering instead of using a 150watt hps witch releases alot of heat, has anyone ever used a lps light? it stands for Low Pressure Sodium. Supposably they produce very little heat unlike the High Pressure Sodium lights. i was looking into buying a 180 LPS light . the Kelvin on LPS lights are lower the HPS lights also witch is better. most HPS lights reange from 2000k and the LPS is 1700k witch is better. And 180 watt LPS has 32,000 Lumens so thats perfect for my grow space( reccomended atleast 5,000 lumens per every 1x1 space in grow area) so since mine is 2x2 i need 10,00 lumens and i got 32,000 so it should be waayyyy better. so whats people's experience on LPS lights if you have any? has anybody heard bad stuff or good stuff about these lgihts?
