anyone have problems with htg/digital greenhouse ballast? post here

I purchased a 4 pack of t5 bloom bulbs ($19.99) awesome price but once they arrived they were all folded in two!

So i call Tony he reships them again same results called him again he promised to package them himself yet again arrived folded in half !

All said and done Tony offered me a deep discount on a 400 watt hps system mailed complete to my door for $91 !

Needless to say ill be shopping with Tony and HTG again real soon great company awesome customer service as well..

HTG sells more lights than about anyone, so it is reasonable that some fail just like with anything else......

Their making things right shows the integrity of their business.

Global Greenhouse Ballasts took the fan out in 2009. It was unnecessary and pulling in dust particles. Usually, the shops that GGL deals with will give you a 3 yr., no questions asked, same day return policy on defective digital ballasts. It’s basically a 3yr. insurance policy. This policy alone has me jazzed. Peace and good luck

The normal 400 watt hps/mh starts really hard. I use the digital greenhouse ballast and love it. I did have one go bad and they replaced it with no problem.

I have spent thousands with HTG and they are the best retailer out there hands down. I have had very few problems with their products and when I have they sent what needed to be sent immediately. I do know that the bulbs that come with the 600 watt DG lights are prone to failure. I had a problem with mine and the rep told me it was a common occurence. They do warranty the bulb for a year and they start the year over when you get a replacement bulb as well which usually doesnt happen. I love HTG and will use them til the end.

Yea Digital Greenhouse ballasts have gone through a bunch of upgrades through the years, I have a bunch from 4 or 5 years ago and they are a lot more primitive looking, less sleek and flat on all sides with less deep fins, and other than running pretty hot, these ballasts have never failed me and Ive used them literally since I got them wayyyy back then. I love my old vets, and if someone I knew were in the market to buy new grow gear, Id recommend HTG, especially since after all the upgrades theyve made to them, their ballasts look and probably perform as good if not better than Lumatek or other high end ballasts, they're really sleek and have deeper fins (probably runs cooler now) and appearantly no fan anymore.. No fans and less heat now? Awesome! As everyone else is saying the customer service is on point and they ship quickly. Highly recommended.
