a picture of a good quality calibrated meter reading of Kroger's purified drinking water. Check post #2 to see if you get your tap water from the same source/treatment plant as me.

I'm in Richmond California. I foolishly used tap water, which is what I water my plants with, as a PH reference, but it may have changed a few points. My readings seem off and I don't have anything that I know the PH of for sure! Does anyone have Kroger purified drinking water (I have a gallon) or get their water from the East Bay Municipal Utility District, or preferably live in Richmond?

If you could tell me the PH of either of those it would be great! :)

human blood supposedly ph's at around 7.4 you could use this as a baseline j/k j/k not really j/k na im j/k ph is correct though
milk of magnesia is supposed to be at or around 10.5 have doubts about how stable this number would be

Purified means its going to be near 7.0 (nuetral pH), this is supported by a post from 2009 and general consensus that purified means close to neutral, all 3 diff brands of purified bottled water I've used have been relatively close to 7, one coming in a little lower because it was spring not just purified bottled water. You could safely assume its around 7 I think, just based on common pH of "purified" bottled water. Don't have kroger or live near there anyhow.

second post about kroger pH, there is quite a few via google search.

I searched, but didn't find what I needed. Kroger may have different types and I don't know what he considers perfect. The one I have is gallon sized and says on the front:

PURIFIED
drinking water®

My friend is using the Hempy Bucket method and it's been going pretty well. C99 grew like crazy with just a 150w HPS. Yes, I drink it, but the PH is naturally pretty high,at least 8.0, and would at least stunt the plants. I have a PH meter, but being off by even 4 points could have bad effects.

Bump. Maybe I should just fill a container with reverse osmosis water from those machines they have outside/inside some stores.
