Anyone have a purple widow smoke report?

can't seem to find a purple widow report. i find some threads on it but nothing specific. thanks in advance. <3

I smoked it. its hard to get the purple pheno out of a pack of 12 as I only got 1 that turned purple in 78f so im sure its legit. It smells and tastes like sweet smelling flowers in my vape.

smoke is ok. It's not as powerful as og18 or mataro blue though, taste is ok but I like the diesel/lemony strains though. To be honest, if I still had my purple widow I would cross her with og 18 or mataro blue (revamped white widow basically) for more potency,smoke and taste and keep the color lol.

It doesn't smell like weed at all so its very good for stealth. Most of my plants turned pink.

it doesnt smell loud at all. It doesnt smell like weed. smells just like flowers. think pink roses

If I might chime in here bud...
I grew out a pack of PW's indoor..(prolly find pics on here some where).. I was so not impressed...It was De Samaan or however its spelled... Of any of the 10 that did make females...(only a few at different times over a couple years).. were so hard to care for..finicky is an understatement...Maybe you would like it, but all mine were at least 90% sativa...which i was NOT expecting for an indoor grow.....Ended up wrapping and wrapping and wrapping....Ended up with a nice wreath on one of them...MAJOR stretchers in flower too...She is, none the less, an exotic strain...I will never grow again...halfass yield...but then again...mine were damn sativas..wonderful soaring sativa high...but I couldnt get over the serious fruit taste...like lavender/ berry/flowery...You may like that I dunno...but I didnt..Im a pine/skunk man..but to each their own.. MORAL though...is she is hard to care for..indoors anyways...picky picky picky....

EDIT: All of mine were purple in the end... Not a bright purple...like a ewww purple...lol..cant explain it....damn flower is the only way

thanks for the info. yeahh that breeder is the only one to have the strain it seems. it must have been a dead end cause it doesn't look like he's tried refining the strain over the years. i ended up not getting them. seeds aren't in my budget atm :O lol.

Im under the beliefe it was purple widow miss labled as they grew more like outsiders

I give away most the seeds but next run of CS i will be making some S2s.
I tend to trade or give most of my hacks to medi users. I let you know when i get some out though.

As pretty as she looks, Thats one sativa I dont ever care to see again....Such a perfumey smell and taste, kinda couldnt get passed that. It seriously was fruity overkill

Damn....Fuckin "juicy Fruit" gum...Thats exactly what that stuff taste, AND smelled like...Have NO idea why i just thought of that years later, triggered by reading your last post just now...I never could put a finger on it before but thats what it is...Wrigleys Juicy Fruit Gum...lol. Im more of a kush/widow man myself...But listen man..To each their own!..If everyone all liked the same things in life, well ....would make for a boring place to live! I guess aside from everything else...Shes not worth the grow as far as a "plant" goes. Out of 10 seeds..prolly got several different phenos...And ONLY because I couldn't find enough info via on here, or elsewhere,..I chose to buy some seeds.... none were robust at all, abnormal growth on a couple...one was extremely delicate...Even gave a seed to my buddy and he grew it outside...same damn looking and smelling as the one i posted pic of... sativa pheno big time..She stretched 4-5 times in flower..That's the one I think I mentioned making a wreath out of by LSTing Intensely. I ended up with a 6-7' plant wrapped down to about 36"..Topping just made her grow worse too..LOL ..Outdoors with near perfect environment...and maybe something could come of it...But not indoors...They were worse than trying to grow some hazes indoors
