If the pollen sacs are ripe, save the pollen. When your plants are flowering, take a qtip and pollinate one of the lowest buds. You'll have all the seed you need.

I realize this is an old thread but it's the closest thing I can find. I need help finding a Doctor in Maine. I am a legitimate patient (not just trying to score) but can't find anyone to help....

hi, i live in maine also, and also has legitimate medical reasons for the use of marijuana. It is so hard to find doctors who would condone to use of medical marijuana, as they fear prosicution from the DEA, and does not want to be a "medical marijuana perscriber". and i still have not found anyone. That`s why i just grow my own. But this site might help you. http://safeaccessnow.org/article.php?id=264
good luck friend. and fell free to post anymore questions you may have. i will check this thread offten.

i found the doctors here in Maine have no Idea whats going on with Med MJ. My DR didn't even know it was legal here.
I have been to 4 pain specialists here, and they all say that they are afraid of the federal gov . persuing them. If you read the rules, you only need the dr to verbaly state that you might benefit from mj, and that you as the patient understand the dangers of abuse.
Also you are able to have 2 onces, and 6 mature plants growing at home.

So if you read the law, and talk to your dr, maybe do as i did, and print the law and give it to your dr.
spread the word to people.

believe Maine also allows the farming of hemp. .

@ onehandedroller what exactly are you growing... i am clueless as to what to grow with our environment & climate ...i live in southern NH:leaf:

[FONT=&quot]I am a newbie in ME at 44.6 lat and have my first grow going: Holland’s Hope and 1 unknown from bag seed. Not sexed yet. Picked HH because it’s supposed to be good for outdoor northern grow. Sprouted around 3/23. Growing under CFL on 24/0. I am planning on putting out plants around June 1, when daylight will be 15.2. To avoid forced flowering and then revegging, I am switching to 20/4 now and then will reduce by 1/2 hour every two days or so to match outdoor 15.2. Am also trying some auto flowers (lowryder #2). Auto flowers sound like good choice for New England. Seed to bloom is supposed to be around 60 days. Smaller yield but still potent. I plan on putting out autos (started 5/3) around June 1. Should be ready early-mid July.
