anyone ever try vapureyes vaporizer?

Never tried it but it's supposed to be the healthiest way to inhale. I heard you can cook with what's left over but I can't back that up. If I had the $$$ I'd definately get one.

I have been vaporizing almost exclusively now for about a year. My wife got me SuperVapezilla for Christmas last year. I love it and I save all the spent vegetation to be used to make honey oil. It makes GREAT honey oil.

Nice so you CAN cook with it after the fact! So you would recommend the SuperVapezilla? I'm suddenly in the market for one! :weed:

Well, I'm no expert, I just read a lot and found that there are a few basic types.

I was able to surmise that you don't want a vaporizer that heats your weed on a metal plate. The best ones were the ones that vaporized the THC with hot air. And the closer to the source of the heat the better. I looked at the Volcano but that was WAY too expensive for basically a $130 valve and bag with a cheap ass heater and pump. You can buy the valve and bag for $130 then buy a $30 heat gun at your local hardware store and it would do the same thing.

So, I wanted something that wasn't made out of basil wood and didn't look like you made it in shop class in 8th grade. The Silver Surfer was highly rated and was made of metal but $250 seemed a little steep.

I had actually bought one of the horrible Voodoo vaporizers, biggest piece of shit on the planet, so I figured vaporizing required the then $700 Volcano or nothing.

So long story short, I found the Da Budda had the same internals as the Silver Surfer and it was $100 cheaper so I bought one. Best weed related purchase I've ever made. No more sore throat, no more lung cookies in the morning after a long night of getting high, no more fucking lighter runs at 2am in the morning!

Peace

NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT REMOTELY LOOKS LIKE THIS!

Ha, that's the one I was thinking of getting :) Saw it in High Times. Thanks for the warning. I'll have to check those Da Buddhas out.

I hear you on those lighter runs...

I was really sad to learn that High Times is basically a piece of shit advertisement for crap products. The only thing I can say positive about High Times is if they suggest something then I know to stay the fuck away from it.

I'm not saying the company is run by people with less weed experience, I'm not sure that's possible, but I am saying they will sell their own grandmother's vagina for 12 cents and a root beer so why believe a fucking word they write?

-- edit --

Just to fill you in on the problem with that vaporizer (NOT the Da Buddha):

1) Leaks. Everywhere. At all times.
2) Does not get hot enough. If you turn up the air to get the bag to fill in less than an hour the temp is not hot enough so you don't get shit. Even if you let it fill the bag in an hour the temp is STILL not hot enough. It's just a crappy design.
3) Fucking sucks and is a huge piece of shit.

cool deal, I'll check out da buddha...

but has anyone heard of the cannabis college recommended vapureyes?

it looked simple, compact, and neat...

I have an SSV, its great, just like the Dabudha bit with some cooler glass. Honestly, I would have gotten Dabudha if i'd known about it. I'd go with everyone else on that one. Like was already mentioned, never, ever, ever, ever buy a Vapir Vaporizer. They are the worst pieces of shit on the market. I've used a volcano, a vapezilla and the SSV (dabudha) and I prefer the SSV.

I would avoid the Vapureyes for this reason. According to the web page its made from : solid hardwood, copper with nickel plate, 316L Stainless Steel, etc.

DaBudha is made from one high grade ceramic heating element and glass. Its glass on glass. Nothing better. One thing I would do is replace the tubing provided by SSV with a high grade silicon tubing. You can buy it here http://www.wickedroots.com/Herbal-Vaporizer-Store/Medical-Vaporizer-Tubing.html. SSV provides vinyl tubing rated up to 180 degrees F. By the time the vapor hits the tube, it cools quickly, so his is probably ok, but cutting it close. The silicone tubing is rated up to 400F, so you no you are perfectly safe. You wont get anywhere near that temp vaporizing.

Now if someone could create the simplicity of the SSV with a halogen heating element, you'd have the perfect vaporizer. (Hint Hint) Shit, I think I may just get on that. I got a connect in China.

I highly recommend it. Wicked roots is the company and they have been great. Someone knocked mine onto the floor and broke the glass around the heating element. I called them up, shipped it back and they got it repaired and back to me quickly. I just had to pay for the broken glass piece. Free labor as it has a lifetime warranty. They always kept me in the loop with emails. It is a pricy unit - I got the digital model - it is about as much as the digital volcano. It is a one time investment and worth it. I use so much less product to get where I want to be. This is the only vaporizer I have ever used but I can't imagine a better one. They will get my SuperVapezilla when they pry it from my cold stiff hand.
You also have to keep high-ons away from it as it is a very high tech piece of equipment and needs to be treated as such. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a long enough hose. The one that comes with it is good enough for 1 or 2 people. Any more than that and you need a longer hose to make it easier to pass around. I ordered 10' of extra hose when I had the repair done and am now good to go.

Sweet, you got the black one. I didn't know it had the limited edition Buddha on it when I got mine, looks bad ass.

About the only thing I don't like about the Da Buddha is the hands free bit. It gets kind of stuck sometimes and I don't leave it attached when I'm not inhaling anyway so I don't need or want hands free.

Oh and I hate having to type "the" and "Da" all the time, "the Da Buddha blah, blah, blah..." annoying.
