Anyone ever try these to make their own UC Roots type solution?

$150 could buy you enough pool shock to last 3 lifetimes.
Problem is that everything I read about the pool shock scenario is conflicting information. Everyone has their own opinions that directly go against a ton of other opinions. It’s difficult to decipher an actual route that won’t cause problems or potentially slow growth or inhibit yield. But yes you are absolutely right

Just like everything else about growing pot, less is more. If you're adding a little bit every couple of days, it shouldn't cause any problems by itself.

After, I mix my pool shock, pour it into my old UC roots bottle. Never noticed a difference in results. Still prefer h2o2, but that shit is expensive.

How do you go about it? And with what specific product?
Search this site for how to make $2200 worth of clear Rez and it should come up. Pool shock is cheap and works great but best if you get a free chlorine meter and stay below 5ppm of free chlorine.
As for the hypo generator just do a google search and I found them as low as 30 bucks. Just remember that the half life of the hypo solution is very short but if your making your own out of water and salt then who cares just keep adding it often.
I used pool shock with great results and I’ve used household bleach with same results. I also purchased a product called Zone from Dutch master and it’s just diluted chlorine but I did read some stuff about silver bullet and seems like it’s pretty good stuff but you can’t beat the price of pool shock.

What exact product of pool shock are you using? I read one blog saying the Americanized version isn’t good to use but the Canadian is. Doesn’t appear that I can order the Canadian version though maybe this guy is wrong?

i used HTH pool shock basic formula. not the 4 in 1 or 5 in 1 stuff.

0.10 grams in 10 gallons water is 1ppm chlorine. up to 5ppm is safe for plants. and chlorine is a nutrient for cannabis. some nute companies add it to their recipe i.e. dyna gro

is it available again? i used that stuff like a decade ago and i thought it was great. but then they stopped making it
I purchased a gallon about 2 hrs ago and it says it’s the commercial version in a gray jug.
I had to order it but forget where I got it from. I was originally looking for SM90 and found they don’t make it anymore so stumbled onto the Zone.
I will do some searching to see if I can find where I got it from
