Anyone ever put out late plants? Or 12/12 from seed outdoors?

What would you estimate a yield per plant put out august 1st in full sun?
In my location it wont be 12/12 until september 1st. We usually get our first
frost in late october. Thought about doing a sog like this outdoors, plants put
in the ground on august 1st. Anyone ever tried this? I know it wont be a whole
lot per plant but if you had enough it would add up? Or am I wasting my time?
Please any advice or expirience would be so helpful as I dont have much time.
They will be from seed, not clone.

You can put a plant out at anytime you should be fine but I wouldn't expect much in yield. If you research 12/12 from seed you'll see they still take a couple of weeks to begin flowering. So take it for what you will. Also plants start to flower before the time gets to exactly 12/12. It would add up eventually. I'd make sure it was not a sativa though because it might not have time to mature before frost sets in with your time restraints. Good Luck.

Latest I have started from seed was July 10th, plants grew to about 18" and yielded about a zip per.

clones are better yielding then seed if put out late.. but I would toss them out ASAP . still can yield.. Im getting 50 plants ready for 3 gallon grow bags.. flower for 2 weeks indoors.. then tossing outside.. gives them a faster start at flowering..and also will make u happy come harvest time.

This is how I breed my plants or they would be to big. I need a lot more seeds then the average joe as any future grows will now be 12/12 from seed.
