Anyone ever heard of Egg Shells?

So idk if any of u ever seen the movie alpha dog..but when timbertwink was growing that weed for his dad and talked about putting egg shells wtf...anyone ever tried that..is that like a nute for a plant or what?

Egg shells are mainly Calcium and Mag. I Have heard of people soaking egg shells in their water for a week then watering with it. You do have to remove any of the inside lining that didnt make it out or it will rot before soaking. I didnt think the calcium or mag was MOBILE in eggshells But it may be.

Eggshells will raise the pH of your soil, I would think that's bad for an acid loving plant. They are great with lilacs though; they're alkaline loving.
