Last year I had ball bats at this time. this year more like wiffle bats, lol. Noticeable on some, not all, but some. You can notice the difference. Just the strain??? Usually, my plants all flower equally,DSCN0046.JPGDSCN0048z.JPGDSCN0027z.jpgDSCN3133a.jpg

Well the pics look better than it really is, the first pic, skinny top, is prolly more than half my tops... Are you 4-5 weeks out too?
Yup..exactly 4/5 weeks. One pic is my average bud on 2 plants....I can wrap my finger and thumb around the buds. Hoping they fatten up.....the other pic was my best/fullest plant all year and is so slow to get going. I have no idea what to expect from that plant. I'm growing in 25 gallon buckets. Maybe that will impede bud size?

Not really. 25 gallon should give you ample room for root growth and bud production. Nothing beats right into the ground if you want the real gigundus plants, but with 25 or 30 gallon pots, as you know, the buds can be quite fat and sassy, lemmee see here, this was a year ago TODAY!!!

This bud from last year I grew in a 4-5 gal pot, as you can see, (5gal blue bucket, big bud in 4 or 5 gal black pot Im not sure...) the results went well. This is what works for me when you dont cut the plant back at all and just let it grow with one main2019a.jpegth one main cola. I hardly ever clip my young plants to make the branches double up and all that. Just flip the switch and let mother nature do her thing.....

This bud was as big as it looks, thats like a 35-40 gal pot with the rusty rings on it in the bg, she was bigger than a 2 liter bottle, I had some 2 ltr pics but cant seem to find them....

Are you western MA, New England area? Not pressing you for a location, you don't have to respond, just curious if it's a demographic thing.
That's how myself and fellow growers I associate with are doing in SW MI. Random amateurs plants I see around here are smaller and scrawnier.

Finally got some drier and more comfortable air here. Things will pick up. May we all yield colas we procrastinate to trim. Peace.

I'm fighting in earnest for it. Tempted to buy some goggles and run one these old UV-C Steri-lights, I salvaged from a remodel job. Just a bathing. Not full time. I'll share my issues of 2020 and results of my many wasted efforts and money. As well as the actual cures I found. Too many things didn't work as they did previously. Keep the info coming people. we're in this together. Peace.
