Good stuff, fun projects. I’ll build another just not real soon
Luminus are awesome COBS,,,, I love them too. There arnt many here that use them, but yet they are the best cob on the market,lol..

I had a nice grow going, you shut it down because i couldnt manage the humidity properly, and no sense in wasting time and electric just to have a odds of 70% that I was going to end up trashing it. Found mold during flower of last run, and threw out 90Grams of flower.

So once i get my dehumidifier and inkbird, Im not planting anything. Down side, No meds for me, Im not spending $20a dam gram of fluff from my dispensary. FT.

Looking great Go go,, keep rollin.

This was 3 days into flip, 150+ colas, 2 plants, 200 watts. 3x3ish Cola average of past grow of this strain was 8g dry per cola, this had the possibility of 1,200 grams OFF 200 WATTS> The bud that had mold from my last grow was 16G dry cola, that was Closest to the light at 12 inches away. Horrible loss man, still cryin inside, lol.. Good news is, I have about 5,000 seeds of this strain, I created with my FireOG and bagseed cross. But i think i might go the BlueDream route next time, because its my favorite and does wonders for my problems i have.

Yes I love my cxm’s and illnuse them again!!! I might change the color spectrum a little bit. I have a vipar 600 that gives a touch more try combs than my cobs

So I have a 4x2 tent with 24 eb280s, I have 2 hlg 185 24a, is the 190ish watts from one driver enough for one plant in a larger pot?

LED has grown me the fattest dankest bud.

LED is much more difficult to grow under or should I say, if your used to HPS, LED is so different there is a learning curve.

LED requires higher ambient temperatures, you actually cannot compare LED and HPS side by side, they require different ambient tempratures (LED 85F , HPS 77F).

LED spread is pathetic, you need to train your plants too the shape of the panels. If you dont do this, HPS wins by default.

Using Cree cobs.

Hope that helps.

Sure LED's are great but come on.
Newbies getting 1 gpw on their 1st grow because they used LED vs HID?
Is that something that the LED guys agree with?
Newbies getting 1 gpw with LED.
I find it hard to believe.
Takes a lot of practice to dial in a grow with any light.
Most newbie's are just grateful to make it to harvest IMO.
growing is really not all that hard especially with all the free info on the internet.

if youre diligent, have good genetics and a bit of luck its not hard to get 1 gpw with LED on your first try. on a photon basis that would be like getting 0.6-0.8 gpw with HID

I guess if you don't have a well designed led setup that could be true. Like yeah you're not going to want to only use a few cobs in a 4x4, I personally use 16 cobs per 4x4 with even coverage even in the corners, you'll never get the with a single bulb..

I guess I should add, in comparison to HPS the spread is terrible (Worst spread out of all lighting options). Sure by having many light points you will get even coverage but thats simply working around the fact, LED spread is not as good as HPS and therefore it makes lighting a lot more difficult, instead of hanging a single lightweight HPS you need many small led sources. Its a pain.

Even SMD bourds, one hps takes up way less space...way easier too install etc.

Thats all im saying:)

I have never once thought about the comparative ease/difficulty of installing one or the other. Nor have I wished I could make use of the space in the air around the light. But if those are genuine concerns for you, that's valid for you. Just doesn't apply across the board!

Nothing wrong with t5. Though they are better now than they used to be. I used to hit 10-12 zips in a 2x4 with a 4ft 8 bulb light. 2 plant scrog.[/QUOTE]

You were able to flower with only T5? How was the bud?

yall should be asking if he used PGR for this as that would add a lot of weight and lower quality a ton, my guess it that PGR was used as much as possible.....

Plant growth regulators. I can pull over 3 per tray and No I've never used them.
Can i see a picture of this? I just harvested a 4x4 that had buds wall to wall and they were very large, probably got 1.5 lbs, not really any room for more weight. Plants were about 5 foot tall.
