i thought that was part of the process until i read the whole article. it would be pretty cool of a nice shiny round ball hatched out of the center.

How fragile are they? Like billiard balls? Can you make one out of Ocean Forest? How big can they be? Can you make one thats only shiny on the bottom? And grow a plant out of the top? Could you make a bunch of tiny ones and use them as a medium in a hydro system? Has ANYONE on this thread made one?
