Anybody Used JB or Powerplant Ballast?

As the title suggests... anybody used either of these brands. Good/bad experience.

I'm looking to buy a 250W mh and hps and these seem to be the brands easily available in my area.
Would have liked a lumatek 250w but not available in my area, and can't find anybody willing to ship it.

Any info positive or negative would be greatly appreciated.

My local hydro guy said that JB is a german brand, but can't seem to find any real info outside of aus
