I have been listening Techno/Minimal since I was a kid. Enjoyed Daft Punk electro for sure

If you could tell me a few of your favorite songs maybe I could look them up on youtube .. I love finding new music

Well, I'm not really into Techno, but I wonder if you've checked out some of the older krautrock like Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, etc. That's some of the earlier influence for the more modern Techno. A lot of those bands started in the sixties and many are still around.

I'm a big fan of Brian Eno, and I like the stuff he did with Moebius and Roedelius back in the eighties. A lot of that can be the more typical "mellow" Eno. However, the stuff they did with Plank might be more your style.
