that's the one duplicate.. she was a bad ass assassin.. loved that show.. and yeah, i remember both the maxx and the head, really liked the head.. for the life of me i can't remember the name of their cartoon series that had all of them on in like an hour long show..
i don't recall the downtown one at all though..

this is what i always say. there's a major difference in the censorship rules between the regular networks and the cable networks, and south park also airs later in the night. also the products that sponsor shows on networks like fox have a so-called "higher standard" and influence the content a lot more than on cable. the demographics of viewers of sunday night fox programming were quite different before family guy. if i remember correctly, the show got cancelled twice because it was too much for fox at the time. people bitched and brought it back.

i do think it's come close to running its course, though. the formula is a little tired even if the jokes are still funny. that nativity episode last night was pretty good, though. it completely disgusted my mom, so kudos there. i think american dad has evolved to the point where it's actually a little better than family guy. when it first came on it was so-so, but they really developed it and it's now something i look forward to seeing. last night's episode was great.
